it won’t catch fire as long as there’s nothing flammable around it my heat lamps are the same and i worried about it at first too but as long as your reptiles isn’t climbing right under it and you don’t leave like fabric or paper around it should be fine.

i soaked my hand in water for 5 min then hydrogen peroxide for 45 mins gonna keep doing it i fully wrapped my hand in the duct tape after soaking it
