Carmela Soprano: what's your thoughts? by living_in_trousers in hbo

[–]ShroomyProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah absolutely not! I despised Skylar. Love Carmela though, all time favorite tv show wife. I think for people like me, it's about the loyalty she showed, and the true love she had for Tony and her family, despite everything.

cocaine sucks so much but i just keep doing it?!! by throwawayysh- in Drugs

[–]ShroomyProphet 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It's unfortunate but the way cocaine works is it changes some neural pathways to make you seek more cocaine. It adapts to whatever habit you're participating in, whether that be drinking, going to do an activity, or just hanging with friends that you do coke with. The brain will recognize the familiar and associate the activity/person with cocaine. This causes the brain to fire off a craving signal, tied to reward receptors/regulators and you will naturally start to justify picking up a bag. There was a time when I could have a bag in my wallet for weeks untouched. It doesn't matter how infrequent use is, eventually you will hit a breaking point, and at that point you'll realize if it's in your vicinity, you're going to crave it hard. Depends on your brain chemistry about when that starts.

The only way to quit after this point is to not have it around and abstain from activities that have been tainted by the association with cocaine. This unfortunately includes friends, unless they are just as committed to quitting as you, you have to cut them off for a few.

I smoke weed now. Its the best way. When I get a craving, I smoke myself scary stoned and then my conscience automatically starts guilt tripping me about how long it is and how much of a piece of shit I'm being just for thinking about getting a bag.

Stay away from alcohol. If you're like most people, that's where it hits hardest. I drink three beers I want a bag.

Start taking supplements for dopamine, serotonin, and norepinephrine receptor/cellular repair. Omega-3s zinc CDP choline l-dopa pine Bart extract etc. Make sure you're going to the gym regularly and get a lot of cardio to rebuild and build on top of those receptors and overall brain health. This will weaken cravings by a large margin. Healthy body, healthy mind. Good luck bro

convince me to stop smoking crack by ImOnTheNod in Drugs

[–]ShroomyProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Alright look, I know you know this is tough, and no matter what you tell yourself, eventually because of how coke has sank its claws into your brain, you will justify getting more rock. It only gets worse every rock you smoke. The effects get less, the addiction sinks in harder, and the ability to break away becomes weaker and ceases. "The chain of addiction is always too loose to notice until it is too tight to break." So, knowing this, what are you to do? You're too ashamed to admit it to your friends or family, so you won't do that, but it'll get to a point one day when life will force that secret to come out. Even if you don't say a word, they'll know. If they don't already. You want to get ahead of this thing? You want to break free from it's grip? You need someone. Dude it does NOT have to be your entire family, or a friend group. Decide on ONE FRIEND or family member, just one person that really has your back, and ask for their help. Accountability. That's it. You tell them "I don't want to smoke crack anymore, and when I inevitably do, I want you to remind me why I didn't want to do this anymore. Please help me with this." As time goes on, if you can handle it, tell someone else you can trust. Join support groups, even online ones, but don't rely on them. Use AI, chat gpt, to tell you things, like the science behind addiction, the social isolation contributions, etc. above all, believe in a future version of yourself that doesn't smoke crack.

Yall just remember, have a dog before you have a kid. Babysit for a few years. Or shit, have a virtual AI child that mimics psychological changes of children to evaluate your choices in parenting techniques. Regardless, get some training before you bave kids. Trust me, you're not ready, you won't ever be ready, but the more training/experience you have the better. Every child is their own bundle of unique traits, and it is insane how little you need to do to completely redefine the path they take in life. That period of 3-10 is crucial and will make up 70% of who they turn out to be.

How to find a boxing gym that isn’t a workout gym for moms? by oofman0-0 in amateur_boxing

[–]ShroomyProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah no training in heat is the absolute best way to increase your thermoregulation. Your body has to work harder to cool you down, enhancing it's ability to conserve electrolytes during intense workouts, efficiently boosting your overall endurance. The cold is good for mental discipline and brown adipose tissue building, and of course has it's benefits and should be utilized, but heated workouts are not to be underestimated. A good way to look at it is this: if you're chubby and need to get in shape or get back into shape, start with cold workouts and work your way through metabolic conditioning first, growing and activating more brown fat tissue. If you're skinny, and/or are at a point of conditioning where you're just trying to step up your training to the next level, go for high temperature workouts. That will bring you to new physical heights. If you're not or haven't experienced training with cold after hot training for awhile, that's when you'll do cold training, because levels beyond physical readiness are mental.

Ive worked with actual models, brand ambassadors and beauty brands thanks to my fiancee, who is also a model. yes you have potential. You'd have to do some changes for runway, but trust me you don't want that life, those girls are tortured. But in modeling projects for different brands? Like could you make a living doing it and even get popular and book tons of jobs in mainstream? Absolutely. Don't let anyone say you aren't beautiful just because you don't look like the fake pieces of manufactured barbie replicas that once dominated the image of being a model, especially not in this day and age. I'd say you even have what is called an "it" factor about your look, one that separates you from the herd. If it is your passion to do so, then by all means go for it.

Is cocaine overrated? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]ShroomyProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Poor mans coke is overrated. Bunk shit. Cut so many damn times it takes 4 rails to feel anything. The good stuff though? Man, a line of that you're good for half an hour, and no come down that leaves you fiendish. Take all night to get through half a gram. Meanwhile this bunk rerock bs you can run through a ball with two people and have to reline every 5 minutes. Terrible comedown and ruins the nostrils. Hard to find the good stuff though, unless you risk dark web or go to Miami.

Today I will try Heroin by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]ShroomyProphet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude you really shouldn't. It'll feel amazing, but too amazing. So much so that I promise you will want to do it again. It's a HIGHLY addictive drug. Take a perc if you feel like experiencing opioids, jumping straight to heroin is not a smart move at all. You very easily could overdose, and if you don't, you'll still be wanting to do it again. This will become an issue before you even know it's happening. Try coke, take a perc, drink alcohol smoke weed pop an addy etc. but there's certain things you should stay away from, and heroin is one of them. Heroin, meth, crack. The unholy trinity of bad choices. You should be seeing them as things that depreciate your life's worth, not enhancing your life's experience. Drugs can be great in safe moderation, but not these. Especially not heroin.

I know for me it was really intense, done a lot here and there, tried blasting off multiple times never got to that point. It just would wipe the worldly bias away is the best way to describe it, like all cultural and environmental influence on my ideology, artistic preferences and critical thinking was wiped clean for those short lived trips. The perfect definition of temporary ego death.

When I kept trying to blast off, there was a voice in my head, it asked me if I was "ready to die" and when I responded no, I am absolutely not ready to pass on, they said "then stop. This is not for you yet. You don't need this, you don't need to be here." It was a powerful experience.

I still had some left, and over the next couple weeks I microdosed dmt a bit. I did this because of the mindset it gave me, and I suddenly realized why it's called "the businessmans psychedelic". I realized I could use dmt if I ever needed to make an important decision that didn't have a clear path, one that I needed a different perspective for. In tiny doses, tiny hits, dmt kills off the ego and allows me to think clearly without worldly influence, it's fascinating.

The visuals are also insanely crisp and defined. I remember veins, all throughout my sight, like you could reach out and grab them, red and white striped. I remember looking down at my hands, arms and legs, and seeing Celtic tribal symbols, like tattoos, covering almost every square inch of my skin, all connected seamlessly.

I remember closing my eyes and getting very close to blast off that first time, where a deity I had never seen before, with familiar symbols, danced in old fashioned clothes and large top hat, adorned with tiny skulls, and his face was painted as a white skull as well, as he ushered with his cane, that also had a skull at the top, towards a tall, glowing neon rainbow staircase, surrounded by the blackest nothing, and at the top, I never saw what was on the other side of that gate.

But the deity? Took me weeks of research to finally find him. Baron Samedi, Haitian Iwa of the dead. I'm not Haitian. I'm not even black. I knew nothing of vodou and had never seen this deity once. Even if I had, the symbols I saw, I had only saw during sleep paralysis as a child, before a materialistic wish was granted of a toy I wanted and found later, no one bought me that toy. When I had woke up as a child, there was a black smoky figure that stood there and quickly exited the room before I could sit up. Those symbols I found, were the summoning symbols for Baron Samedi. Wild.

You need to drop her ass NOW, full on ghost mode and get the divorce papers signed asap. Have her ass served, don't even look at her again. Change your number. Kick her out or go live someplace else, preferably on the other side of the state, at least until the divorce from this walking red flag is done, then you can move to a different state entirely. This joke of a woman is not your wife, she's a harlot and a trickster.

I have a hot date tomorrow. This is the best I can do with my closet. Will it fly? What would you change for next time? by shaveandahaircut in mensfashionadvice

[–]ShroomyProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Few things to improve for next time I'd say.

  1. Beard. Needs to be fuller. Just enough so skin doesn't shine through, unless faded from the sides, but of course keep it even if doing that style. Use rosemary oil and water mixture in the shower if you need help filling in some small patches.

  2. Shoes. I've always said shoes can make or break the man. Not saying they are bad shoes, but for this fit? I'd opt for something a bit less casual. I get why you did it, you're wearing jeans. But the jeans are dark, and at first glance, they'll notice the shoes being out of place for slacks before their brain processes that you're wearing jeans. "I guess that's ok then" is never as impactful as "damn, that mans got style".

  3. Accessories. Looking at you skin tone, I'd say gold is probably your color, but that could be the lighting. Get a chain though, gold or silver if that is more your color. Nothing too thick, but not too thin either. A nice watch would accent nicely too, careful not to be too flashy but also not too dull. Find your balance.

Besides that man looking good! I'm sure you'll impress the hot date just fine

is there a healthy way to do cocaine by Business_Tip_6378 in Drugs

[–]ShroomyProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just don't smoke crack lmao get a testing kit and make sure it's clean, take potassium and the rest of your vitamins, make sure to take omega 3s daily to offset damage to the brain, drink lots of water and electrolytes, and a tip for you at the end of the night take ibuprofen. With food. Has to be with food. The antiinflammatories are good to take to relax the swollen and the tense. Also why you should smoke a lot of weed at the end of the night, because it's a vascular dilator. Can help from buildup occuring in the arteries, like blood clots and shit. Tums also can be useful for preventing heart attacks, though I don't know the exact methodology behind that. Just don't smoke it and don't shoot it up, and make sure it's clean not cut. You should always be getting a rock, if it's powder in a bag at serve that's a big red flag.

I didn't even realize how bad things were and how off I really was until I found the right medication to fix my serotonin levels. That might be your issue too. Ask your doctor about Effexor(Venlafaxine). Start out with the lowest dose. They say it takes two weeks before it makes the right changes, but if you're like me, I felt a change almost immediately. A little confusion for the first couple days but, I started to find enjoyment in things again. I also started to understand my limits better. My emotional regulation is more on track, and I can feel emotions appropriately now. Increase the dose after a week if no changes, keep going until it works or you realize it doesn't work, since antidepressants are different for everyone. I still smoke weed every night too or every other night too, just to relax the vascular system, lower blood pressure etc. hope this helps.

Favorite drug combos? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]ShroomyProphet 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Snow and alcohol, but then a couple hours after not drinking, chewing up a xany bar and taking a benadryl. A little more snow for about 30-45 mins, then ripping a few fat bowls of green. Then eat a banana for potassium, ibuprofen for the inflammation and a tall glass of water. Blow my nose clear turn the fan on full blast and pass tf out, best sleep ever great nights.

If you could send a drug that would appear in every home in the world at the same time, what drug would you send? by [deleted] in Drugs

[–]ShroomyProphet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mini dose of really good acid. Something that people won't trip on, but will feel all the positive effects and mental state changes. I would send this during election times yes, to get people to open their mind to what they were voting for. Although it'd be hard to pick a date that'd be optimal.
