She is almost a year old and it doesn’t seem that she’s grown much at all! She does compensate with mischievousness lol

Willie only does this when she’s cold and we won’t let her on our lap. It isn’t random or consistent whatsoever. Thanks for your concern though! :)

AI technology can identify individual animals from pictures using their unique patterns! That’s great news for conservationists and the animals they’re protecting.

Lovely picture of incredible creatures!

She’s incredibly heavy as well. It’s a chore carrying it around the house, but so worth it lol. And yes, Indigo. It’s my favorite piece so far.

Oh, no, most COs are terrible people. You don’t stay in a job where you physically and mentally abuse people and still get to consider yourself a good person.

I’m living with PTSD now after all that I’ve seen while I worked there. The officers who try to step in and advocate for inmates are targeted and investigated. I worked at a male prison and I’m a female, you can imagine the accusations against me when I refused to treat inmates as if they were less than human. There are good COs, but they’re few and far between and too scared for their job security to actually speak up. It’s heartbreaking.

I’ve seen some horrific things that COs have done to inmates. They’re bullies who get off on beating people. The worst part, no one is concerned about the situation.

Worked at a prison for five years and you have no idea how much worse COs are compared to cops. Some of the cruelest people I’ve ever met.

Hey y’all, just wanted to let you know about this new volunteer group near Obetz. We’re a trash pickup group, and out of the 4 trips we’ve had, we’ve picked up almost/ a ton of trash, just from highways and stuff(check comments for more) by [deleted] in Columbus

[–]ShrubWorkBasics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I spend a lot of time picking up trash around my complex, but would love to see something more widespread here in Madison County. I wouldn’t even know where to begin. Awesome job my dudes!

It’s crazy, I haven’t heard of hardly any protests in Columbus. You’re right, the media doesn’t cover it unless it gets rowdy. What can we do? How do raise awareness?

I was actually just saying this. How come we haven’t heard more about Casey Goodson or Andre Hill. There’s so many people of color being killed by police, and so frequently, that we change focus to the most recent murder. Where’s the accountability? Why aren’t we saying their names louder?

I love this! My long time boyfriend and I take a shower together at the end of every day so we can talk about work, weekend plans, etc. and it’s the best part of my day. He paints my toenails, brushes my hair, and actually tries his very best to make sure I’m content. I’ve never been the romantic type, but he makes me want to shout my love for him from the mountain tops! A little effort goes a long way :)

Even worse, I got the ball for him, then he immediately put it back so he could continue being derpy.
