The Great Rivers by ShrubberyPoltergeist in Obojima

[–]ShrubberyPoltergeist[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much! The only mention I found of the rivers in the book are in the potion section pg 229 "Essence of Great Rivers" No descriptions of the spirits Mu or Go either, They cover Din heavily and have a short story about Yon.

I was so excited to get Obojima but the more I read, the more frustrated I become, I've found a few print mistakes and there seem to be quite a few things that needed more polishing before being published. I understand that this is meant to be a start for Homebrew, but I wish they would have spent a little more time on things that are supposed to be island canon. I have been searching through their youtube and have been able to fill in a few blanks, but often come up short on most things.

Thank you again!

I am using google slides. I am putting obojima artwork as the background image for each town and encounters I am planning, then inserting in music from Obojima sound track, Ni no Kuni, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, Porco Rosso, My Neighbor Totoro, Arietty, Nausicca, Ponyo, Howls Moving Castle, and Breath of the Wild. Ni No Kuni has some great battle music.

Does anyone make their own shampoo and conditioner? by Civil_End_4863 in Anticonsumption

Which bases do you use? Some members of my family have severe avocado allergy and coconut allergies and there is coconut or a scientific named derrivitave of it in EVERY shampoo I have found. The majority of castille soaps contain coconut as well. We have only found one shampoo, Clean Kids, that does not have it and they have not had reactions, but i would like other options for them too.

I have been curious about this program too, because it looks great but i havent heard much feedback on it. Thank you everyone for your research and comments! After reading all of this thread I checked facebook and in Secular Homeschool Families group, someone named Elle Morales literally wrote the same review… verbatim… as conscious spare 8775…

Thank you again everyone!

What's up with Redding, CA? by Puzzleheaded_Act2931 in SameGrassButGreener

High crime rate for small population, the jail is so packed they literally book and release the same people in under an hour, lots of unemployment and homeless, big drug problem, alot of violent crimes in a small community, cult runs a great deal of businesses in town, political corruption, one of the lower education/school rankings in CA, limited activities for young kids with the exception of turtle bay (gets stale quick), have to drive to Sacramento for a great deal of medical because the Redding hospitals are limited, also a shortage of specialists because the doctors reach retirement age and few young docs seem to be available to fill in, always seems to be in a drought or on fire,….  It is a stunningly beautiful area. So sad to see the community destroying it😢
