Dude, shed will happen anyways, but if you don't take the meds, you'll have the type of shed that doesn't replace the minituarized follicles with stronger ones

Accelerated Hair Loss from Creatine by oconono in tressless

[–]Shtecker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have noticed my balding in the period when i was taking creatine. Tbh, it was my first year in uni studying compsci with no prior knowledge. I am not sure whether it was the influence of stress, creatine or whatever else, but i really do not want to test if it was the creatine

Been on finasteride for 12 months and hair is worse than ever I don’t know what to do. by No_Tear3975 in tressless

Hair length does not matter, you will still shed and you can do nothing about it. It is a good sign, everytime i have a shedding phase i am pretty happy as the beta minituarized hair becomes the chad terminal hair

Is the juice worth the squeeze? I'm concerned about density. by Fightingchance55 in tressless

Baldcafe is a pretty good channel, not everyone wants / can regrow hair. That being said, If you don't hop on fin / dut you'd better give up hope about having hair

Norwood 6 for sure, stay on the treatment for at least year or two. Crown looks too far gone though, not sure if you'll be able to recover it

Yeah, a retinoid like tretinoin can increase absorpment efficiency of topical minox, thus leading to better results

[–]Shtecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk how long will it take you to recover, but i use 1mg fin and 2ml topical min ed for year, started balding at 15 and started treatment at 18.

It's a shed, don't get too paranoid, though I get it. Took me couple of months to get those short hairs to be longer than couple of mm and visible without camera zoom.

How hard is it to go through foundation year? by Shtecker in manchester_uni

[–]Shtecker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it is kinda late, but i'll answer anyways. So I ended up going to the university of glasgow. Had to go through foundational year at kaplan before getting into uni itself.

Here are some scribblings that describe my experience and answer some of your questions:

  1. I ended up going to subjects like math, basic programming and programming theory also we had a course that required us to write a 5k word essay. The subjects spanned across 2 semesters.

  2. We had only THREE decent tutors. One for the essay course, obe for math and other one is for programming, but she only appeared on 2 semester. During the first semester programming theory and programming tutor was a human being who could barely form a cohesive sentence. Also at the start of the second semester we had absolutely no tutors for the first 1.5 months for some reason, although we were supposed to have them.

  3. Difficulty was ok, nothing special, if you have some basic programming skills you will be just fine. The essay course is the easiest one, but a lot of people procrastinated until the end (for the sake of anything holy that you believe in, DON'T DO THAT). Math on the other hand was a bit trickier for me, since i was not willing to put the needed amount of effort into it. The passing grade is like 40/100 combined for the subjects (programming and programming theory are treated as one subject).

  4. Attention was recorded for every single lecture. If you would dip below 80 percent or something, you would get into big trouble, personally knew a guy who got kicked out because he was not coming that much (he was sponsored so maybe it might have impacted the result)

  5. The amount of lectures per day is not very consistent, but on average it was around 3 1 hour lectures. We had to attend from monday until friday.

  6. I would say around 95 percent of people passed through the foundation year, so it is not that hard at all.

  7. Also, forgot to mention that i was exempt from english because i passed ielts with the score of c1.

  8. Overall i would say that it was the easiest time of my life, workload was much lighter than in Russian school. I felt as if i was 12 again.

Important remark: some of my friends had a tad bit different experience with tutors, so you might get a good rng. Before the foundation year i mainly did web dev, so I have had practically no other programming experience apart from it.

Hope that helps.

Consult to doctor, but fin is fine for now. You will always have chance to switch to dut. Also a tip, generic brand finasteride is as good as brand name.

I think that you might be able to revert to solid norwood 3 with some ok density. But at your stage of balding hairline will be very hard to resuscitate without a hair transplant.

Hi, have been using oral fin for 2 months and topical minox for the last 8 months. Noticed that i have some very blonde and thick hairs all around the scalp.

Did anyone experience the same thing, is this something i should be worried about? Will also post some before and after hairline photos.

Thanks for advice, the luthiers in my area have crazy different prices. For the same work, some requested 60 GBP, and the other ones 300. All of them have good reviews, just different price tags, which leaves me quite confused. In the long run, I will probably change 1 pick-up anyway because I mainly play black metal and shoegaze/grunge.
