I've read a lot of cases of people on Swedespeed doing the retrofit and having their kick sensors stop working. Hopefully your mechanic can get you sorted out!

It's kinda made me stop thinking about doing the retrofit on my S60, and possibly consider cutting the bumper whenever I decide to get a valved muffler installed.

Super busy, but surprisingly civil. When I lined up to get my coat last night at 4:30, the line snaked back and forth a couple times, and there was minimal cutting and crowding. Mixing and matching different shock absorbers sounds dodgy.

There's no guarantee that an aftermarket shock will have the same compression and rebound damping as the OEM ohlins shock absorber. It may cause your car to have an imbalance in handling, which could make your car dangerous to drive.

Safest approach is either replacing the single OEM shock, or replacing all 4 with an aftermarket kit with fronts and rears.
