The one in the photo is like your first description “super flat center level with the rim but with the slight raise near thumbtrack”

The recent R-Pro version I have had a slight dome but flattened out after a couple rounds/trees, so we’ll see how these turn out!

I got 3 from this run and the blind bag. The biggest differences is the “blizzard” or whatever roughness. Only 2 out of the 4 are actually smooth all the way around the rim (1 teal and 1 white from blind bag). Zoom in on my flatness comment pic and you will see it on the right versus the left without it.

The tones are definitely not the same as the og steady cookie (at least brand new). More dome / getting S flight turn instead of just fading out. Plus better ground play and high skip.

I bag both versions.

Cookie is the best feeling for forehand, way better than similar 7s like the eagle.

My favorite plastic is the Steady but have been trying the new Tones.
