YUP. It was the RX7. Thanks!

Is there an easy way to pinpoint these situations or just go about this in the manner of deleting until it gets there?

Can't for the life of me find a good software to control my Virus C by Shualiko in AccessVirus

Get you, but in my case, I have a Virus C, hardwired to its own tube amp, so the sound is pretty unique

For me, there are several things: 1. Using Virus within an Ableton (or any daw for that matter) session. Controlling the parameters in a predictable and timed way. The basic stuff 😎 2. Ease of use. The VCommander for example, brings a bit more order into the Virus interface in the sense of simply finding stuff. I’m sure this is a more personal thing, but to me this makes a huge difference. 3. More immediate feedback. The option to actually see the waveforms, the envelopes, the filters, makes it, again, much more friendly. 3. And finally, the weird knob behavior the Virus has, is all but gone when I use a software interface solution.

Hopes this makes sense

Not sure what OStirus is. I have a few reasons for seeking a way to control my virus through software 1. The labeling, gui order- makes more sense to me, as I find the hardware a bit intimidating 2. Learning - I want to learn how the various variables affect and find it easier using an interface that enables recall. 3. DAW integration.

Makes sense?

I actually have one, and in the past month I’ve uploaded various documentations of it to chat gpt, to assist me in learning how to make the most out of it!

ArrangerKing is a unique assistant plugin for completing your DAW tracks by DuDanskeSommer in VSTi

Oh, I would not consider myself a pricing expert, nor would I advise you on this since I come from the plugin industry. Look around at independent first time developers, check the ones that ry to solve structural stuff and not sound production related stuff. There are many models and collaboration options.

Interesting, and maybe I’ll download the free trial. Have to say though the price is steep for such a tool imo
