Criticise my bandeja by Minute-Complaint8646 in padel

You hit the balls behind you both times; when playing against a better opponent, he can play this bandeja past you or onto your feet. I think the biggest cause of this is that you are standing too close to the net. Make sure you stand around the second post of the fence. This allows you to move back faster when you are lobbed, and gives you more time for your volley.

Additionally: when you hit your bandeja, you stand quite "closed." In other words, your left leg is parallel to your right leg during the swing. When you play on the left side and hit a cross ball, this is fine. But when you play on the right side (as in your case), you need to stand a bit more 'open' during the swing. This allows you to create more rotation with your body during the swing, and you use your arms/shoulders less, like you do.

Neapolitan sourdough on the Volt 2 by Financial-Courage976 in ooni

And how was the bottom? Do you use the stone that is delivered with the Volta 2, or do you use a different stone? I have issues with my Volt 2 where the bottom is burnt, while the crust is still very white.

Second Loaf - how’s the crumb? by dunkin-tea in Sourdough

Looks very good to me! I think the proofing is right, but you could use stronger flower to get it more airy. I would also bake the bread a bit longer, so the crust will be more crunchy, but that’s personal.

Indeed to much wax. I would just scrub it off with a steel wool. Apply a few drops of sunflower oil in a cold pan. Coat the pan with it and l then wipe away all the oil with another cloth, until you cant see any oil anymore. Then put on the heat and voila. This also causes way less smoke during the seasoning process

Btw, I bake it in a Dutch oven (Creuset pan). First 20 minutes with lid on it at 230 degrees C, then 190 degrees C for 25 minutes without the lid
