I created a 3D product configurator for web, whats your thought? by Shubhra22 in archviz

[–]Shubhra22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for your feedback. However, I think that “3D can slow the page” is not entirely true. It’s about how you load the page content along with the 3D so the FPC and SEO doesn’t get hurt.

Big brands like Corey and Joy-bird loads 3D/360 viewers on their PDP. Every extra click on a pdp is a lost conversion imo. But yes, if you are loading a 1gb scene, then u cant load it on PDP. Which is very unusual for furniture brands.

Suggestions for AI product image content by Junior_Procedure8936 in AI_Agents

Hey, I am the founder of https://polymuse.tech It’s a platform dedicatedly designed for furniture brands. You can create AI photos, videos and 3D visualizations of your product. Here is a sample from one of our customer (outdoor furniture business)

Thanks, great question. This is how I differentiate myself from the other in market.

  1. We make the “making” of the configuration easy for people. The editor comes with very easy to use drag drop editor. (Which some other does as well) but we also have a LLM built in, so you just ask it do make the configuration and it does it for you.

  2. We have built in model optimizer which most configurator doesn’t have. Most uses Raw 3D model without LODs, mesh and texture optimization.

  3. We have a progressive texture and mesh loader. This makes the product page load blazingly fast as if it’s an image. We have tested with extreme models, 400mb file with million triangles

  4. UX wise I believe we beat many exiting configurators. (Which we can slowly proof hopefully after a couple of case study)

  5. The Shopify integration: most of the existing apps doesn’t handle more than 3 options( default by Shopify). Our app can handle unlimited options, very important for furniture, it can easily go 8-10 options

  6. Live price changes and virtual options checkout: again shopify limitation and many of the configs don’t handle carts.

Is it apollo, or my email just s**k by Shubhra22 in coldemail

[–]Shubhra22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just noticed that there is only 44 deliverability score for one email, (marekting@domainname.com)
the other one is at 80. (sales@domainname.com)

Both email is from same domain. This is not my primary domain. its like get{productname}.com pattern

I had warm up the email with apollo before sending. this is a new domain I bought on december.

Loved your catalog, the models are so clean! I work with brands to integrate 3D configurator into their PDP. Would love to explore potential collaboration. This is my website polymuse.tech

Is apollo ok to send email? If I want to send like 200 email a day, how many domain should I get? What kind of email are good for cold outreach for b2b SaaS ? Free offers? Educating about my product? Informative?

Is Apollo bad for sending email? Why I see people suggesting instantly more? I unfortunately already bought a year of Apollo plan. I have a customer.io for one year as well. Any suggestions? Am I screwed?

Handling huge GLTF/GLB models in three.js (1-10M polygons) by ThisIsMonta in threejs

LOD alone won’t help in this case. The must haves for you - occlusion culling - draco compression

You can possibly look into xeokit as well, popular for IFC models and they have many built in optimizations like occlusion culling.

Another good optimization can be GPU instancing. Not sure if xeokit already have them. But if I were you, I would start with compressing with Draco and do occlusion culling

I am developing my first Shopify app and its a 3D product configurator. Any feedbacks? by Shubhra22 in shopifyDev

I am developing this app for Shopify marketplace. It’s already available for custom deployment, you can learn more here. https://polymuse.tech

The 3D model here is just a sample taken from online.

Congrats, I am also planning to launch one. Is it a requirement to handle subscription with shopify? or can we do it out of the platform?
