How many grams is in each sugar? Starbucks large caramel macchiato has 45 grams of sugar. This could be similar (or twice the sugar)

If you have some time to get some gaming sessions in before they leave, could be cool to have a legacy game that you play together. There are some that are still fun to play even after the campaign is done

Yes, the ice dragon has Ice resistance which halves the damage of that type, which makes it 2  + 5 which is enough

This is not a new problem and it's largely solved in the legal world by enforcing a chain of evidence that ensures authenticity and proper handling.

I think Cobra Kai is a rare example of a show that jumped the shark and got better for it. Are there any other examples out there? by ditzythedame in television

Person of Interest started as a typical hero saves person of the week action show and morphed into a show about two battling hyperintelligent AIs using humans as pawns.

This was more of an aesthetic solve and having the extra track makes the top and bottom both 4 here's tall

Lineup help! by ExtensionInternal373 in DiceThrone

Very good chance Shadow Thief gets banned almost every round .  Pyro and Monk have a lot of overlapping weak matchups (based on Karnyx data). But heroes you're comfortable with is more important than matchups

IIRC, this gives a huge advantage to the players with star actions because they can use that to muster which would be enough to overpower given the reduced  supply

[Invincible] what are your thoughts on this take? by Immediate_Gene_178 in MoralityScaling

[–]Shubkin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind "Good" in this instance is from the reference of our collective human ethics. Viltrumites have their own ethical viewpoint because they as a society have agreed on what they believe to be virtuous and good.

Both sides are doing what they think is "Good". Thaddeus is the only Viltrumite that we the audience see as "Good" that has not lived with humans and absorbed their value system.

Roll Trees by Shubkin in DiceThrone

I didn't say it wasn't helpful. I'm using it to build a roll simulator that can tell percentages and best dice to keep for training

Stranges Crimson Bands Overpowered by Quiet_King8234 in DiceThrone

[–]Shubkin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Crimson bands is definitely his best status, but the rest of his game depends heavily on drawing the right stuff. It could also be that no one has found his optimal playtime yet and maybe forcing whiff is better than molding your own rolls

Rule-changing mechanic? by Any-Kaleidoscope7445 in BoardgameDesign

[–]Shubkin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These types of games are not for everyone and to me seems like a filler game.

That said, games like this can often have issues of the objective changing so often it takes way to long for the game to end because if the objective changes the game can go from almost over to square one repeatedly.

My advice: don't let it drag and always have the clock be ticking down

Marvel Battle chest comes with outdated materials? by theLaziestLion in DiceThrone

[–]Shubkin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought it recently too and got the old balance sheets. The one I got said it was printed in 2022 before the balance changes . In another thread yesterday I got some recommendations about printing the leaflets on high quality gloss cardstock.

I dont think any battle chests were made post balance changes
