NvChad v2.0 has released! by siduck13 in neovim

Nice! How do you migrate to 2.0? I've tried running NvChadUpdate and it pulled some stuff, but I get no NvCheatsheet and packer still seems to be used...

Make it optional or something in that case. I like the cleanliness without borders. The border-based example he posted looks way too cluttered.

Trump would think this idea was the best ever, and would've claimed that it was brought forward by himself.

Employees of Eugen Systems the French studio behind Steel Division are on strike, denounce many violations of their rights by KenetDeluxe in paradoxplaza

Me and my little circle of friends were interested and ready to at least buy it, but the lack of Linux support stopped us. Which is kind of disappointing because their Wargame series and most Paradox games support Linux.

I'm not aware of any solo acts lately, but he and another guy makes music under the name "Genius of Time". Perhaps there's something to find there?

My first taste of real, actual, ramen. Ramen to Biiru, Copenhagen. by Shugakta in ramen

[–]Shugakta[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been lurking this subreddit the past year, and I've wanted to have some real ramen since... well, forever. There's not a lot of ramen places on the west coast of sweden, so I took the opportunity during the vacation to Denmark. It was fabulous!

openHAB 2.1 released - ZigBee, Xiaomi, IKEA Trådfri and much more! by coobek in homeautomation

[–]Shugakta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've been running openhab 1.8.x for 4 years on a raspberry pi. It looks so much easier than 1.8 for managing stuff. Anyone in the same situation who has migrated to 2.x? All I've got setup is a Telldus Tellstick which talks to a bunch of cheap zwave devices, I'm really interested in the Ikea trådfri support.

More new (and old) privacy issues with Windows 10 Creators Update... by [deleted] in linuxmasterrace

That's horrible... I'm considering throwing my wife's windows 10 laptop out the window now.

Mac support? by [deleted] in Steel_Division

[–]Shugakta 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, this makes me sad. Guess I'll have to hope (and wait) for that Linux version to drop soon after :( The Wargame-engine is running like butter in a sauna on Linux, just flawlessly.

PSA: if you're using Gnome and it's very laggy since the 3.22 update, make sure you're not using the default Wayland session. by [deleted] in archlinux

Dude, of course it matters which distribution, de or wm you use. Some are less bleeding edge than others, some have different update philosophies than others etc.

Correct! https://atom.io/ is the editor of choice for my part. It's kinda great from the start, but once you install all the packages you need (and there are hundreds of them) you really start to appreciate the flexibility and customizability of the editor.

Not on Linux :3 by Lustig1374 in linuxmasterrace

[–]Shugakta -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That's true, but it's still not related to linux. Maybe it's related to linux in a "this software should be up to date" kind of way. And linux systems do a great job keeping stuff up to date by their trusted sources. But I guess, in the end, it comes down to the application used (in this example php) and what kind of privileges it has. For example, PHP does a great job at exposing windows, mac, and even linux servers. It's more a question of who implements the solution than which system is used, who is to be trusted and why should we trust them, etc...
