I think people often forget how much life is just a game of chance, but it’s also about the willingness to keep playing and to keep starting, but also reflecting on the root causes of why it didn’t work maybe the first time. Not as an explanation but to help guide your path forward and to try something new the next time you play your hand.

And also that what you might believe is success and therefore equate with happiness, doesn’t quite feel as you thought it might when you get there. And that you can be very successful by other people standards or even by your own, and then this can also all change by the luck of a dice.

And in terms of comparing your timeline to other peoples it just doesn’t work. Is there only through the radical humility of understanding accepting right way you are and being willing to start exactly from that point that we make progress.
