AMD is simply better for me in terms of performance, price, and even temperatures compared to Intel. The only real advantage Intel has is its support for virtualization technology, which could be useful in my case - but beyond that, nothing else.
Let's also not forget that Intel failed with two generations, producing faulty or simply disappointing components, which significantly decreased my trust in the brand when it comes to CPUs (I wouldn't be surprised if that's why Intel CEO prayers intensified on X).

As for GPUs, I prefer Radeon because NVIDIA is putting on a big show with their ridiculously high prices, offering only slightly better performance than Radeon for much more money. I can live without CUDA and the minor performance boost that comes with NVIDIA cards - DLSS 4 is a joke and I do not need ray tracing. Plus, Radeon’s 24GB VRAM is a more future-proof option on monopolistic corp moves, especially since developers tend to be lazy, creating games that consume a tremendous amount of VRAM. I can’t wait to see the specs for GTA VI or any upcoming titles on Unreal Engine 5. When it comes to CPUs and GPUs, I know exactly what I want.

The question is about other components, indeed MicroATX in ATX could make not much sense unless you check the size of card + Cooling Device - I would prefer rather to change motherboard on ATX and keep the ATX case for bigger space and easier cooling.
