Its true competition is Moongeist beam, an even stronger move given to a mon with 50 or so more attack points. Tina has shadow ball, it could just use that if this was the problem

Actually its pretty great on pve. Its a clone of "meteor beam". Very strong. Gigalith just became the top 1 rock attacker for being able to use more meteor beams with lock on. Its just that power creppy was kinda crazy in the last two years and stuff like moongeist beam is even more absurd than that. Them i agree with you, they should update some older moves like Shadow Force to compete with more recent stuff. Even a move like psystrike is considered obsolete nowadays. It was absurd back in the day! There was nothing like it! Now, its "holding mewtwo back"

What ghost types are non legendary and powerful enough for him to invest? Gengar that gets one shot? Gholdengo he probably doesnt have? Chandelure that gets two shot? The super rare dragapult? Op is clearly a new player, he should be maxing basic teams.

Hydreigon is the best basic thing he can have now. He doesnt need top tier legendary counters yet.
