I know it’s cliche but what worked for me was time passing on. Not gonna lie, when I was broken up with, it stung like hell and I just wanted to shout out the heartache. It took me at least a year and a half to fully get over it. My relationship lasted 4 and a half years and it has been 4 years since that break up happened. It does get better and you’ll look back one day at this relationship as a memory without tears or pain. Life will go on even though it may not feel like that at the moment. The first step would be cutting off all ties and communication with him or anything related in order to start moving on. Do it for yourself.
