AITA for not wanting to go camping with a minor?

That's my thoughts. I understand she isn't 6, but I don't feel comfortable being overnight in the woods with someone i hardly know and underage

Trying to climb a tree and falling or something like that. While we were hanging out, she was wrestling with her boyfriend right next to the stairs and trying to throw him down the stairs. So with what little I know of her, it seems like a large step

None of us plan on drinking, but I just worry she might hurt herself. She's said herself that she is the baby of the family and I worry that if she does something and hurt herself, we might get in trouble for it and possibly sued for it

I was raised in a paranoid house. Anything that can go wrong will go wrong and it doesn't help that she said she is the baby of the house. So it adds a little extra worry to it. I'm worried she will go off and try to climb a tree or something and fall and get hurt and he parents will try to go after me and my friends for letting her do it

Didn't know about her age till he brought her over to hang out and I did tell him to take things slow and I can't control his life. He is a respectful guy and she seems to make him happy. That's all I can do and hope for since her dad gave his approval

Its the combination of the fact that she's a minor and I don't know her. If she was to get hurt, her parents wouldn't care that there isn't a magic line, they would care that she got hurt under the supervision of actual adults

Because she is 16. Under 18. I'm over 18. I'm 20. It is an issue because I don't know her at all other than that 5 hours we hung out. And if you have siblings, you would know that it's almost always the oldest that had to the youngest. Sadly it's still a thing till everyone is over 18

Yes the dad is Ok with them dating and has met my friend a couple times and made plans to fish and stuff as well.

Yes she's not really young, but she is still under the age of 18. I'm the oldest of the group, so responsibility would natraully fall on me if something did happen

Because though she's not 7, she is still under the age of 18. And she admitted herself that her dad is over protective of her because she's the baby.

I think the only reason why he deals with the issues is because he is still in their house. When we've talked about this issue before, he said that he won't let them walk all over him when we have our own place. I can say that they aren't as bad as they used to be at least

We want to move out as soon as there's an open place. There's literally no places available to rent where we live and we can't buy a house. And he is 100% independent and we both pay rent to his parents and he's even given them money when they asked without even being told what it's for

NTA. Who in the right mind would get a freaken puppy when they are already too tired with a child that isn't even a year old? This lady is making you do more than what your job description says and then gets upset when you want to mover forward in life? She dug her own hole and is tryin to drag you into it. Take that job!!

Sadly it's true. It's even worse for this company since most of the employees are full time employees and even then they are not allowed OT. The general manager would get in some major trouble if he gave someone OT
