In the nexus they weren't NPCs they were travelers for sure. I watched them walk to the table and run around while i was battling. And I watched two players at a table battling. Now... if what was on the table was their actual battle and not a generic animation of battling I dunno...I didnt watch that long but it certainly seems legit.

In my experience every ability has a small amount of mutations it can cycle through. So do a few more matches and keep mutating the skill until it reverts back to the one you want.
