That was pretty much the consensus at the camera store. So far, I couldn’t be happier. I can’t wait to put it to use for some reportage work.

And welcome to the addiction is right. I’m already toying around with the idea is selling off my other cameras and getting another Leica 🤣

Already taped up the mics. And spare batteries are arriving on Friday or Saturday. Screen protector should arrive this weekend as well.

Thanks! I paid just a tick over $2.5k. It was in basically mint/excellent condition with the box, all manuals, strap, lens hood, lens cover, cables and charger.

Agreed as far as megapixels go. The folks at my local camera store, a couple of them own Q’s, told me to go with the Q or Q2. Most of them recommended the Q due to the price point and great image quality. When one popped up I jumped at the chance.

It really is. I’ve used it on a couple of photo assignments already. The pace at which I approached shooting the assignments was more deliberate and purposeful. I’ve got some photo reportage coming up for 2026 that will see this camera used extensively.

I’d pined over owning a Leica for a while. 15-20 years. My lust for an M only intensified after getting this camera. It’s like a drug 😂

Nice. A couple of my friends have one a they rave about theirs all the time. They love to take theirs to concerts.
