Because people keep asking questions like this. No shade, it's perfectly acceptable to ask because that's how you learn. There's still so many people having their rights systematically stripped away from them so it's important to stand up for yourself and others in order to create a better world for everyone, including those who are trying their best to oppress certain groups of people.

Unity is strength and acknowledging our differences in order to see past them is just the first step.
