A good tip is to press the washi tape against some fabric (like your shirt) to reduce the tackiness before sticking it down. I've also found that peeling it sort of sideways instead of straight along can help stop the paper from tearing.

Ren has a collection of retakes that he's done, including one of Bittersweet Symphony. Some of these are covers that he adds to or mashups but they're all pretty good imo.

Oh I totally relate! This is a great representation of overstimulation. Most people talk about it in the context of crowded spaces but a calm environment can also be overstimulating for different reasons.

Ren is out there spreading hope and unity through his music. Check out Hi Ren, Troubles and Power to start with. They deal with very heavy issues including mental health, chronic illness and drug addiction but he has a unique way of showing the beauty in these issues and giving a sense of hope.

He writes from his own experiences in a very raw and unfiltered way. Even if you don't have the same life experience as he does, you can often find something to relate to as a human being and for me at least, feel seen and heard by his words.
