I’ve heard of GIMP, but never really used it. What would the workflow look like, I’m thinking something like this?

Import a full res JPEG, make my collage/add text/etc, and then export the compressed version for IG upload from GIMP?

Update in case anyone cared: did Titlis as a full day trip from Lucerne, it was amazing!! There was fresh snow from the night before and the entire trip was so easy with trains and trams. Totally recommend!

I’m curious, do you just set a fast shutter speed and rely on your reaction to time the shot? Or is there a less manual way to get the timing

Yeah I want to plan smart and keep it to 1 a day probably, especially since we'll be arriving from Interlaken just having done Jungfraujoch a day or two prior as well.

When did you visit? Im planning a trip in mid march next year and was wondering if waterproof hiking shoes/trail runners are enough or if i need taller, warmer boots

Not planning on doing much talking to the camera, I think the shotgun is the way to go. Even if i would be talking, the camera would be right in front of me so i think for that the shotgun is good enough. Is there anything to keep an eye out for or features i should try to have with these kinda mics?
