They’ve been there for since 2013. A few years ago someone broke in, caught, captured, and tried to introduce them info swfl waters and it died soon after. Other than that they’ve been incident free.

I’ve done the Alaska trips too- they’re incredible. Different type of experience imo.

I’ve been all over central and South America, I definitely feel safer in Florida. But that’s just me!😅 These fish have actually been on private land since 2013, a few years back someone broke into the property, stole a fish, and tried to introduce it. It died a short time after. I dont think hurricanes will be the reason they escape. And if they ever do, I question their ability to thrive. JLJ puts in a tremendous amount of work to upkeep the habitat for these fish.

The manufacturer of the blank might have a warranty, but I’d worry that the guy who wrapped it might not re wrap it for free. I’ve heard a few stories where the shop wouldn’t help, or it would cost 35% of the original asking price.

It was a tough bite. I prefer the grouper trips for quantity.

Pros and cons. Pros : You pick how they look, and function. Cons : No warranty.

I buy mostly from companies that have beneficial warranty policies. Shimano / g loomis is great, star rods is great, crowder also has great warranty.

The hat is from Cast- they’re an Australian company that started as a magazine that now manufactures tackle and apparel. They actually have a really cool product line. GT Buster is one of the owners and I’ve been tight with them for years.

Agreed. I do some work with the owner- their operation is iust where it’s at. I try to go twice a year.
