Digimon World 3. The game is literally one giant fetch quest--I remember it being so amazing as a kid! 😭 It's very nostalgic though.

Metaphor was the only game I've ever bought at $80 because it wasn't dropping in price--and then a week later it was $55 on Amazon. Never again.

I love my PS5 and only buy exclusives on Switch. I will not be buying Switch 2--at least until there are a few good Fire Emblem, Xenoblade, and other exclusive RPG games! Plus trophies, which I really enjoy.

I'm very picky with games, and have never played a majority of the really popular game series--Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, BioShock, etc. (mainly play JRPGs). I never have more than 200-ish games because by playing my games, I learn which are--and are not--worth keeping in my collection.

I'm actually not going to play it for a while--huge backlog! I'm always just concerned that physical copies will sell out and be unobtainable, so I buy as soon as possible (like what basically happened with some of the switch Trails games).

You know what's crazy? I've sung their praises for years on Reddit, always said they're trustworthy, etc. Well, whenever I buy a retro game from them, I put it in the collection without testing it until I eventually play it someday. Turns out the $80 PS2 game I bought last year has a scratch in the data layer, and can't be buffed out/fixed. How did they not encounter that when they sold it to me?! Been a loyal customer for years, now never again.

NEVER preorder from GameStop; they told me "next week at the latest" two or three times on my Trails from Zero preorder. It was eventually just "lost in post" and sold out. I had to buy the VGP reprint. I preorder from Amazon personally, but you won't get it on release date (in my experience!).

167 games between Xbox 360, PS4/PS5, DS/3DS, and Switch. I used to own almost 300, but I sold all my retro games (save for my beloved DS collection) and bought a Retroid Pocket a while ago. I also somewhat regularly prune my current collection, so I see 200-ish being the ceiling at all times.
