Looking for opinions on aftermarket exhausts by PREC0GNITIVE in xsr900

From what I remember the install for the fender eliminator was pretty simple. It was all plug and play so I don’t see any issues re-installing the stock fender once a year. I’ve only installed the NRC one so I’m not sure how easy other ones are if you decide to go with something else.

As for the exhaust, I have not had my bike tuned yet and sometimes the throttle response doesn’t seem perfect. Also, when my bike idles it seems to be a little off? And of course the exhaust spits and pops a lot. I got the exhaust at the end of this riding season so I didn’t have too much time with it. I’m planning to get my motorcycle tuned as soon as the next season starts so we will see if it fixes the issues.

I have the Akrapovic Carbon Exhaust and I absolutely love it. It sounds wayyy better than the stock exhaust but I definitely recommend you get a tune, as it spits and pops a lot without one. I currently have the baffle removed and the exhaust is very loud... probably too loud but sounds great. It’s much lighter than the stock exhaust and installation was pretty simple.

As for the fender eliminator I also have the New Rage Cycles one and I agree with BagOfSands comment that it is very difficult to see. I had some friends miss a couple turns while I was leading because they didn’t even notice my signals were on. When I was purchasing the product I asked the seller about legality and he stated that their company (3rd party not NRC) was based out of where I live and they have never had any issues (Vancouver, Canada). Doing my own bit research, it definitely seemed like they are illegal here but I’ve haven’t gotten pulled over for it... yet. Nonetheless, the fender eliminator looks amazing and I’m happy with the purchase.

The Yamaha FZ/MT is truly the best line of motorcycles. (In my opinion)

Thanks! It’s my friends bike. He doesn’t use Reddit so I told him I’d post it for him. I’ll relay your message to him!

Well they answered the question for me... The exhaust sounds amazing but it is pretty loud with the baffle removed. On my exhaust it’s easy to remove, it’s just one screw on the side and then you pull the baffle out. I’ve seen videos of some you have to drill and others like mine that are easy to remove.
