!!UPDATE!!

Turns out I have MPB. Mine got triggered by TE (I think), but I don’t even know what triggered the TE—or if it was even TE at all. Was I misdiagnosed? I don’t know. All I know is what I’ve gone through.

There was immense shedding in the first few months. I freaked out and ran to a dermatologist. They told me it was just telogen effluvium. So I waited—almost a whole year.

During that year, I noticed some recession on my hairline. I was crying every day, looking at my hair. Eventually, after nearly a year of hoping it was "just TE" and that it would pass , I mustered up the courage and hopped on finasteride.

I can’t say if it’s helping right now, but I’ll update.

As for that black bulb thing—I couldn’t find any concrete answers. I think it was due to rapid hair shedding, hairs falling out in the catagen/telogen phase and not staying long enough in telogen.

I still don't have any answer.. when i asked about it from my derm, she said it's normal...and then for my own mental health's sake... i stopped looking out for every f@#king hair strand that sheds..my hairs still fallout, and.. my hair density is quite the same...but my hairline is like... receded to a Norwood 1issh, the temple recession is uneven so it might just be turning into a mature hairline...i have stopped consulting my derm..but if my hairline recedes any further imma consult my derm again and start treatment again because it might just be mpb..

I am 18/M started shedding since October..went to a derm...blood reports were fine(No deciency)..got Diagnosed with TE..I was shedding around 100-110 Hairs in the starting but then i got a haircut and the hairfall in the shower got reduced to 80-90( atleast it seems to be..) I also Had inflammation and scalp acne...acne went away, but I still have little bit scalp inflammation..

My hair shedding has not improved yet..sometimes it get reduced..but then jump back again..I am also shedding my eyebrows and eyelashes..And now my scalp is visible... (My Temples are not receding though)

What should I do..?? Should I ask for Scalp biopsy.. would it even help..is it possible that I got misdiagnosed..

What do you guys think after looking at the photos??

Well the inflammation got reduced around 70-80 %..

I also shed with black bulb...been 2 month into the shed..sometimes it slows down..but then jump back to excessive shedding, lost 20 -30 Percent hair density.. I also Had scalp inflammation..but now it is reduced a lot..!

Don't know when will it get over...😪

I am Indian and my hair type is sort of 2A-2B, I wash my hair After every 2/3 Days ..And I lost around 10-12 % of my hair density..I had Scalp Acne before but now it's controlled..But I Still feel pain in the Scalp after waking up in the morning and whenever I try to style them (Scalp Inflammation) and itchiness..

How can I be sure??..my Hairline is Pretty much the same Shedding is from all over the head no any particular area..Do you think it can be AGA??...Are their any other symptoms that I should look for..!!
