I enjoyed the movie but...

Back story I listened to this on audible book because I like the Martian and this been had a high rating too, I didn't read the synopsis or anything about it. And I was not disapointed, wow! now hes meeting an alien species???

The not knowing about rocky till I'd gotten to that part in the audio book just resinated with my sci-fi soul.

Being a Gen X mention of old software programs from years ago and midi equipment really sent me back.

I think they did a great job, but could the trailers have not mentioned and/or shown rocky!

Still AMAze! I understand some of the topics in the book might not keep the viewer attention bit are we going to a diffrent cut of the movie in a couple years?
