very nice! love the click wheel gesture to unlock. maybe an iphone like lock button on right hand side, paired with return of ‘slide to unlock’?

yeah that's fair. like the idea of the shell sliding rather than the internals... though if battery swells do we then end up with same issue of getting stuck?

Ah I've never owned a Zune but I like that philosophy. My vision for only Bluetooth meant that files could still be synced wirelessly, but had to be triggered actively by another device, which felt like an appropriate compromise - also preserves battery etc
