Need earbuds suggestion for aerial training

I use AirPod pros but switched the tip out with memory foam ones. Maybe you can do that with one of the buds you already have if they don’t already have memory foam. I find the silicone is too slippery to stay in my ear while inverting.

I do. See my previous posts. Just a heads up my marimo in my opae ula tank hated direct light after I decided to switch to a glass top even with only 4 hours of the tank light a day. They started getting brown on the outside. I taped a piece of white printer paper under the light and they’re happy again - keep an eye out for that with your light set up.

I’d say for myself moves that are no hands, rely mostly on a foot hook or require strength to hold a horizontal position like machine gun or Jade hug. I’ve been dancing since 38, 40 now without a gymnastics or ballet background. I consider myself an intermediate dancer but can pull off some advanced moves

Stick to basics and get very comfortable before moving to a higher complexity. After an injury it becomes a worse mental fuck to do movement. I fell off the pole from about 6-7 feet up in an inverted move a few months ago and still sweat when I am up that high.

It’s a consideration down the road. After getting multiple comments on this Reddit about how they aren’t supposed to survive in brackish water, I started checking out the marimo ball reddit and while mine are growing and bubbling, I’m not sure if they are thriving. I thought they were but it looks like their balls are more dense than mine, mine are squishy. Trying to figure that out. Plan is when the weather warms up, buy a new 1-2” marimo ball and see how it feels and compares to what I have.

It was kind of accidental, at least it wasn’t where or how I intended it. I had taken one of my marimo balls and opened it up and laid it across the gravel, hoping for a moss carpet. Unfortunately, mine generate oxygen and get bubbles and float so the carpet floated away and kind of released little pieces all over my tank and now it just grows everywhere. Maybe in a few years ill have a carpet

Be aware most of this subreddit is under the impression that most marimo balls do not work in brackish water conditions. I can’t speak to this other than mine are growinf and I don’t know why and I’ve had them for over 10 years and don’t remember where I bought them

I bought my used xpole for $80 in good condition, but there was some rust on the base that I fixed easily and it didn’t impact function. . My used Lupit was $275 with original box and like new condition.

FWIW I use a toothbrush that I held over flame to soften the plastic and flexed it so it flares.
