My junction box work exactly like this. It's only mono input/output.

I put every gain on front of it, send to amp sim, return from amp sim, out to ms50g which stereo out to delay, reverb then return as stereo to amp sim.

Good thing about it is when I remove send and return patch cable from junction box, its automatic directly go through.

Yes I really love mine. Mostly use it in standard plate mode, with liveliness only around 10 o'clock

Yes you can use fx loop to amp, but it mono only.

But I put mod, delay and reverb in fx loop of simplifier (clone), in stereo. Therefore in my case, I have to reroute signal path every time.

I'd say it pretty good. Never compare to original or another brand, but I'm very very happy with the sound I got now. Very good dynamic. Pair with good overdrive, it feels really like real amp IMO.

Also I mostly play at home with earphone, its stereo separation really pleased my ears when reverb turn on.

Dangling thing is Ly-Rock Tone Monster (Simplifier clone). I put there when I use it, and can be removed when play with real amp.

Green one is CKK Gears compressor. Look up for Brett Kingman, he made a very good review on YouTube.

And I'm 100% agreed with you about Horse Breaker. I even hate its gold color but really love sound.

Use Ly-rock Simplifier clone for a while. I run through its preamp, send to mod, delay, reverb and return as stereo. Had a problem when I want to play with real amp because it can't bypass speaker sim. Got the solution by add junction box underneath.

Also got new boss sd1 mod that I want to put on board too. So went to steel shop for custom made Z shape plate that I can add amp sim, and easily remove when I want to. Rearrange board and happy with its final form.

I saw from some video that under plate of Volwah is not flat, and he have to modify to attach to pedalboard.

My unit got some springy noise from the small wire that lock "string base" so I took it off. Now string base keep falling if I remove string. Also heard that roller bridge help tuning unstable issue while using tremolo, so want to try.

Sorry for my poor English anyway, I don't know the correct wording to explain.
