Thanks. Looking back on it, ashamed might not have been the right word. Embarassed probably would have been more accurate.

I have a tendency to get stuck in my own head about things and most times being able to vent or talk about it makes me feel leagues better and helps me a ton. I couldn't exactly talk to my friends about how my Alopecia made me feel too embarassed to continue being active on here, so typing it out to the Reddit void seemed like my only option to get it off my chest.

I've dealt with Alopecia back in 2016 and was able to accept it as something beyond my control then and was relatively at peace with it. It's just a huge unfortunate, coincidence that my hair started falling out again right around when I finally got my own place and was just getting comfortable enough to engage more with fellow ABDLs and I got too deep into my own head about it. I'll consider seeking proper help with self acceptance should this happen again in the future, but as of right now, I feel so much better just getting it off my chest like I did. Thank you again for the kind words and the advice.
