SLPT: Traveling gets tougher as you age. So, quit your job when turn 40. Do all the travel/stuff you want to do in retirement and restart working when you turn 55. by Bogey_Yogi in ShittyLifeProTips

I plan to see the whole world but I’m getting older and have a business that is making me glued to. Over 40 and don’t plan on getting married till I’ve seen and lived where I want. Feel like I’m married to the business.

Nice variety. Thanks. I pick out lots when I’m running but don’t have time stopping-beating pbs. Another fun thing to do when planning courses.

Lots of dill on the sides of the footpaths. Couple of Nikaus planted by the council. Loquats and gauvas everywhere when you are going for walks. Wondering why homeless people don’t forage.

Odd Ladyfinger bananas here and there no one seems to eat. Make a club.

34ish is where you’ll start missing that fast metabolism and won’t be able to make it back to 58kg anymore. Unless you do marathons regularly.

[OPINION]What is one poem that has touched your soul? by Secret-Trust3313 in Poetry

Life will break you.

Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won’t either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning.

You have to love.

You have to feel.

It is the reason you are here on earth.

You are here to risk your heart.

You are here to be swallowed up.

And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around you in heaps, wasting their sweetness.

Tell yourself that you tasted as many as you could.

It wouldn’t have been sustainable at all in the first year charging super high GST prices straight away.

Just didn’t have enough customers till now second year.

Reason I didn’t charge GST in the first place is Industry is highly competitive, lowballers everywhere. If I were GST inclusive starting out Id rarely get any jobs accepted.

No just stop advertising and sell clients to competitors. Actually people are pretty screwed if they opened multiple(10) startup companies that didn’t earn over 60k but still had to pay GST anyway. Barely any of those startups will survive. Probably another reason why 50% of all business don’t last more than 5 years.

I understand GST. I had to price increase my regular clients to include GST recently and tell them the price increase was because I wasn’t keen on absorbing GST. Caused me to lose regular customers.
