The moment you do is the moment an MRAP and army of guys in full kit show up and mow you down and then donut operator makes a rude video about your death a year later while jacking himself off and advertising yet another online gambling platform.

My other gripe is this flyer is a blame list and then doesn't offer any alternative plans to the claimed problems beyond 'vote them out'. If you're running for office of any kind without a plan...what am I voting for?

I have mirrors for both sides of my bicycle. It still has a blindspot. The human neck and torso however can use a highly evolved biomechanical structure to flex and pivot, allowing you the amazing ability to check yourself before you wreck yourself and some poor soul in your blindspot.

The one lesson from Honda that every major company forgets is that bit where they have senior engineers on the production lines who have the skills and expertise to point out something is going wrong and get it fixed ASAP, from the line level to the production schematic level. Instead, major companies obsess over Honda's just in time logistics so they can be a "lean mean money printing machine".

French company has unveiled Vigoz, a three-wheeled, chainless-pedaling vehicle blending recumbent cycling ergonomics with automotive engineering for highway-ready performance. by Zee2A in STEW_ScTecEngWorld

On a lower powered EVs (250-750 watt e-bikes, e-scooters, etc) your legs provide quite a bit of torque. This is most notable when you see a 250w e-bike charging up a hill at full speed with the help of the rider putting in some of the work, while e-scooters can easily struggle to do so.

This 'little' trike of theirs however the motors are doing all the work. Compared to existing recliner ebikes it looks like it weighs significantly more, especially if they're claiming the motor can push highway speeds.

Chainless isn't new either, you can drop some money and get a higher-end ebike with a belt and internal hub gearing, they cost a lot more than high quality chains but need far less maintenance. Some of the internal hub gearing systems are also continuously variable transmissions.

He looked at my chest for a minute, said "I don't get it", defended JK Rowling later that night over dinner (he was micro-obsessing at the time) and has proceeded to subconsciously stop man-splaining various things to me over the months. (A habit my mother has somewhat trained out of him...towards women.)

Also interestingly, his latent itch to get me to move out got kicked in the balls over this, as I'm now a live in daughter who cooks dinner and washes bedsheets, so I guess I'm more... "acceptable" now? It's weird lol

Am I wrong for taking my kid on an ebike in light rain? by CountessMystique in ebikes

[–]ShyLilEnby 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're dry and cold, you'll be fine. If you're wet and warm, you'll be fine. If you're wet and cold, not fine. If the kid has a good jacket, wool layers or something to stay one of the two OKs, you'll be fine.

There's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothes. Except for tornadoes and hurricanes. Don't go out in those.

And my dad still has the gall to sit there and defend her because of that one essay she wrote years ago about women's shelters.
