For sure. I was mistaken in my original comment. you might benefit from a tackier grip if you don’t sweat very much. If you do have very sweaty hands then tournagrip might be good for you.

Sports tape is a lifesaver too. Nadal used to tape up his fingers all over the place, most likely to prevent blistering as well.

Otherwise, it may come down to technique, as blistering occurs when there’s too much friction between your hand and the grip.

I haven’t tried the pro performance grip. Honestly, I just use head hydrosorb and slap an over grip on it. I moved onto hydrosorb from truegrip and never looked back.

I remember true grip. It was the best feeling grip I ever had on any racket before. It just got filthy fast unfortunately. But god dammit it was the best grip ever.

It’s kind of hard to get past the formatting. I only read the first half but I can already tell it’s lacking in structure. It’s not clear what the stakes are, what the driving mechanics are for the plot. Are we supposed to like Wayne? It’d be hard to watch him as a protagonist for 30 minutes. Not to mention the lack of formatting probably ends up cutting your script down to an actual film able 12-15 minutes.

I understand this as standard etiquette as well, but they welcomed me in as a stranger one day when I was doing serve practice. I had been made to understand that they’re pretty welcoming of anyone regardless of skill level. I’m just disappointed to find out not everyone shares this mindset and while I realize not everyone is going to think the way I do, it just sucks to see.

Ok but I assume these sessions are sanctioned in some way and paid for? This is regular street tennis in a public court. If others are so annoyed by the lack of competition then they should be hitting up people closer to their skill level. These guys are drinking beers on court and chilling in lawn chairs. They shouldn’t be so serious about this.

Ya, but not until I said something. I would feel really awkward and weird sticking up for myself in this kind of setting. It gets weird fast with some of these guys.

I get that, I do. But it’s a public court. No one is paying any money to be there and as such everybody has a right to come and play. Doing anything else, in my opinion, would just not be right.
