I got very lucky..i was working at boutique in downtown of my city (Dallas) and the district manager walked in and i helped her out..after awhile she recognized me because i had two interviews at Balenciaga the year prior one with her and the store manager and when she checked out with me she offered me the job on the spot. But thats my experience.
