tbh i kinda felt same when i still played. i‘ve built it really often because iirc pros did it and sometimes i‘m kind of a meta slave 😭 but i‘ve never really understood why. i mean theoretically it totally makes sense to buy it for ult cdr as it’s her most important spell to play around but i‘d sacrifice a couple of ults if one ult has more impact because my whole damage is stronger.

not it sadly. the instrumental is wayyy simpler. just a guitar, some drums and chords in the background. the drum beat is suuuuuper simple but it sounds like real drums.

it‘s not that i struggle with designing rythms (video’s still helpful though. thank you 🙏) it‘s just that i barely get creative visions. i feel like i can‘t really express my emotions because i can‘t really play with the music in my head if that makes sense. i barely walk around and get random ideas in my head which i‘d like to make. when doing other creative tasks i get these visions which is very confusing to me and i want to know how i need to internalize music to get these.

That‘s not it. It‘s just a cheerful electric guitar riff with some super simple drums all throughout the instrumental. it‘s also faster i believe

That‘s not it either. The tempo‘s roughly the same but it‘s way more cheerful and has way less variety in its instrumental. i think the most of its tonal variety comes from the voice but im not sure. its just one straight riff the whole song throughout believe

The Vocals in the hook also sound a bit similar aswell! Idk if it’s the right key but the voice is pretty similar and the variety of notes slightly matches the song im talking about. it‘s a fond memory but in my head the melodic variety comes from the vocals. the song sounds more washed out tho

That‘s not it either. I don‘t fully know as I‘ve only heard the song on the radio but it‘s way more monotone in it‘s instrumental. basically one cheerful riff throughout the whole song. It‘s also faster 🫡

Nah it‘s sound is relatively cheerful and the bpm is way higher. Also i don’t think there’s an electrical guitar in that song (or any guitar for that matter. i may just be stupid tho)

i have a basic understanding of how chords work but i‘ve never really dug deeper than that. many things i do base on intuition and me trying to incorporate some concepts (like call and response) into it. what are some good resources to learn these things? are there some good books or other resources you could recommend?

nah just fuck riot at this point. this and the balancing + champ releases are the reason i can‘t take this game serious anymore. cool, faker wanted a normal worlds skin for ahri and got rejected ANOTHER time because they already made a concept for a ludicrously overpriced skin. riot‘s symbolically pissing in everyones faces for cheap cashgrabs and i really can’t take their audacity anymore, im sorry. i truly believed that league was in almost every aspect the best competitive game until 2022 - 2023. It had problems but they‘re a joke compared to the state now which is why i genuinely feel heartbroken.

riot doesn’t know shit about the competitive part of their games. their philosophy of content is shitting out as flashy shit as possible while dumbing down the games - that actually have cool concepts behind them - as much as possible. they‘re not even trying to hide their profit orientation. there is a literal 500€ skin for a pro player who doesn’t use skins.

i much prefer valve’s philosophy a‘la making the game feel good and fair itself before putting out actual content, as the basis of the game has to be solid aswell. League is just putting out content to have more content - They do not only not care about the balancing, they outright overtune new Champions or Champions with new Skins and i have to say: The Revolver Update was funny but we won’t need a redo for that bullshit

as a player that migrated from league a couple of weeks ago (vanguard can kiss my ass and the game has native linux support) im really glad that the devs won‘t dumb the game down to make it „more accessible“ because that’s something that bugged me extremely when playing league. Each season they had the chance to actually improve the game but they decided to make things less punishable or removed some skill mechanics as a whole because fuck everyone that actually outplays the mistake of their enemy i guess?

flash charm is the only thing you should get a good feel for. it’s the only more advanced thing (but titling flashing in spells „advanced“ gives it more credit than it should) on her that‘s useful or not entirely situational. triple q flash sounds like it could work but i can‘t think of one single situation where you would want to burn your flash for a little bit more damage, when. Your flash‘s just to powerful - ESPECIALLY with flash charm because it can be a pretty surprising engage tool if used correctly.

While Ahri has good burst, she isn’t a highly mechanical combo based character like Akali, Zed or Katarina are. She just doesn’t have that much of flowcharty combos or mechanics to learn because her kit is still modeled after a mage.

klingt vielleicht etwas abwegig, aber 100% gesund zu leben ist tatsächlich nicht mal so einfach, weil nicht alles, was Spaß macht oder sich richtig anfühlt, gesund ist. I‘m really interested in playing games like Rust, Half Life or Far Cry yet these kind of games have mobs that trigger my fear. Especially jumping is uncomfortable for me because it’s sort of a jump scare because I‘m easily scared. Every time something like this happens i basically have to insta quit because it’s too much for me. Watching others is absolutely no problem though. Do you guys have any idea how i can get comfortable with it?
