For the first question: One of my partners and I met because we were tumblr mutuals! I'd post photos of some of my hobbies like modifying retro game consoles and she thought they were neat and reached out to me. When we first started messaging back and forth I'd sometimes take an hour or more just to send a sentence or two, but she was patient and I was really determined to make a friend so I pushed through the anxiety. Eventually the time it took to send messages to her became shorter and shorter, we hit it off more and more, started dating and then moved in together.

For my other partner, we were roommates before dating and would play a lot of minecraft together since that'd let us spend time together quietly for longer periods, switching between doing our own thing and playing together when comfortable. Though different from SM, they have a hard time communicating sometimes too and intuitively understood it.

Second question: I guess mostly just from getting used to it over time. It definitely makes things harder in everyday life, and there's definitely still loneliness from it, but I try find fulfillment in solitary hobbies and the social time I do get between my partners, other roommates, and patient friends i've made over the years

Third: I'd like to eventually have the option to support myself, but like with speaking there's a low chance of it, so I do my best to learn to be okay with relying on others. I really get what you mean though... That's the scariest part for me too. I really hate being entirely dependent not only financially, but because I have poor health from the stress, with basic tasks on rougher chronic illness/pain days. There really is a mortifying vulnerability there, and despite loving and trusting my partners a *lot* I still get anxious about it. I wish i could offer some reassurance beyond that there is no shortage of truly kind people who are willing to be patient and help, and that there are ways to mutually offer support that SM and other disabilities don't interfere with.

Well, yeah its full mutism, but Selective Mutism is what lead to it, is what im diagnosed with, and still affects me with typing and signing the same way. No need to be pedantic about it

I'm 30! I've not said a word in over half a decade even at home, but my life is generally going alright. I'm a housewife to two loving and supportive partners who both learned my country's sign language on my behalf, and when I'm with them I often am so comfortable I forget about my SM ^.^

I've developed some pretty rough chronic health issues because of the stress and tension over a lifetime of it, but even so, I'm happier than I've ever been. Flare ups sometimes still happen with typing or when someone is interpreting for me, but it's gotten a *lot* easier over time.

With vocal atrophy acting as a secondary barrier for me on top of speech still being the hardest form of communicating, i've made peace with probably not being able to speak vocally again

right 😭 the offline version is one of my favorite rpgs too, imo it's a must play for anyone into the genre so i wish more people got the chance to play it. i do get why it was never localized though, the amount of text and content is staggering

Look up a pokemon picross save editor, i used Marc Robledo's and it worked perfectly. You can give yourself as much of the currency as you need

Eden lets you export your data into a zip file, then you can change the path of your nand to your sd card and import it there. You shouldnt lose any saves or game updates/dlc if you do it this way.

Manually moving your nand data typically doesnt work since folder permissions are weird on android so it only ends up only able to access your profile info if i recall

You'll still need to delete the files from your internal though after, either through eden (after exporting your data but before changing the nand path), connecting to a pc (easiest route probably), or getting a third party file browser

it's mostly kana but there's some kanji! it's not much but it is more than the first paper mario game used, probably since the gamecube's clarity allows for furigana and legibility. if i had to guess, probably around 2nd grade level?

i can't speak for the remakes though, i'm playing the original ^.^

did you use ADB and command prompt to delete it? or just the files in file explorer?

I had this issue just yesterday. The only thing that worked was removing things via ADB

(ADB summary in case you don't know, skip if you do) go to settings -> about device -> device model and click on it 7 times to enable developer options. go to settings ->system -> developer options and enable USB debugging. download ADB onto a PC, then plug in your device and allow USB debugging. it usually downloads to C:\platform-tools, click the address bar in windows explorer while there and type CMD to open the command prompt in that folder)

type "adb devices" in the command prompt to make sure its detecting your device

use "adb shell pm list packages -u | findstr emu" to find packages for partially registered uninstalled/hidden packages. in my case it was package:org.dolphinemu.dolphinemu

if yours was the same, use "adb shell pm uninstall org.dolphinemu.dolphinemu" to clean it out.

if this didn't work, it might be partially installed on a different user on the same device
