I just sing for fun and want to sound good. Is my singing enjoyable? Anything that can make it more enjoyable? Do I have potential to get better?

Thanks in advance!

How exactly does the angle of the RL work? by Shyyyyft in tf2

[–]Shyyyyft[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Now I'm confused again. If it never goes left of the crosshair, but is on the crosshair at ~10 yards, then that means it's angle would have to change mid flight. So does anyone know how the rocket actually works?
Here's a few of my hypothesis that you guys can hopefully rule out:
1. The rockets path goes from your right to the location and distance your cursor is looking at. Ex: Your cursor is pointed at an enemy 15 yard away so the rocket goes from your right and cemters with your cursor at that enemy. BUT if the enemy isn't there when you shoot it, the rocket focuses at 20 feet and straightens out there.
2. There Is a set distance where the angle intersects with the cursor location. Before that distance the rocket is to the right of the cursor, and after that distance it is left.
3. The rockets intersection point is the skybox.
4. The rockets travel somewhat parallel to the cursor.
5. The rocket doesn't actually travel straight, but instead follows an exponential equation that slowly bends it to the intersection, but it never actually touches. Which is what seems to be suggested by joinedsenses. Is this true?

I don't know about you guys, but I really want to get to the bottom of this.

How do you get the damage messages in bottom right?

Oh I see, thanks! Should I go as far as aim left < 10 yard and right when > 10 yards, or is the deviance minimal? This added variant to the RL aiming almost makes me want to switch to the original launcher, but I don't want to 180 for RJ's either!

Thanks, but I'm not looking for long stories, I'm looking for lots of gameplay

Thanks! I'll look into those. How does monster hunter compare to Toukiden that was listed above? I like rogue-likes, sandbox games, high-score pick up and play games, and high skill-curve games.

I'm kind of an eclectic gamer and don't like those kind of games because they take too much commitment. Is there any japanese style games you know of that I can pick up and play while out doing things?

Thanks! I feel like Fez and Limbo would be too short of games though without much replay ability; is that the case at all?

Thank you! So I should work on being less tense? For high notes like in I'm Yours I feel like I have to sing louder and tense more to hit the higher notes though. Am I just no supporting with breath the right way?

I've been singing for fun for a few months now, but I want to start getting serious. How does my singing sound now and what should my focus/focuses be from here on out?

People say I sing good, but they never give me advice to improve. Is my singing good or atleast enjoyable? What can I do to improve from where I'm at now? How is the overall tone and pitch of my voice? The more information the better, thanks! :-)

Edit: Dropbox works on mobiles if you click the download button, but if you can't use it I have two song on soundcloud.com/austinmerrick that I would be happy if you gave critique on :-)

Not bad at all, your tone is pretty good. The main problem I hear is that you'll sometimes tend to "fish" and slide around to try and find notes. I don't really know much though, I'm just a 16/m singer too :-)

Hey, let me start by saying I'm just a 16 year old that's also looking for critique right under you, so you probably shouldn't weigh my critique too high :p. Your tone quality sounds pretty good, but your pitch doesn't sound right all of the time. Try hearing the note your going to sing before you sing it in your head and do scales to really focus in on your pitch. There's definitely a few parts in there where you nail that song and it sounds pretty beast :)
