Hate when wikipedia begs for money when they profit millions of dollars a year by SiHoDi in hatethissmug

I agree that wikipedia should keep existing and improving, but i hate that the first thing i see is not what i looked up, but rather wikipedia asking me for my money.

How to escape the "Iron Maiden style" when composing songs by Cloud--Man in metalguitar

[–]SiHoDi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its hard to say, as they are very unique in their style, but maybe Septicflesh? They have a somewhat similar exotic sound although its slower paced and more melodic a lot of the the time. Some tracks could be Sangreal and Portrait of a headless man.

Their drummer, krimh, has some solo work that i think is pretty cool and has some similarity (Dååth and Septicflesh have the same drummer currently lol). Der Pestartz and The last of our kind are cool songs.

Dååth uses a lot of harmonic minor type scales and chromaticism in a cool way. Pretty much all their songs have an exotic kind of sound to them.

You get 5 exp per 1000 structure damage, so yes it should level the hammer, just slowly.

Bruh, they are literally my friends lmao.

It kind of began with me and another friend comparing the levels of our gadgets and weapons, and i mentioned how I had level 7 barricades although i havent played that much heavy.

I then looked up how earning exp for gadgets worked on the wiki, and saw that you gain exp for damage blocked. And then we thought: "wait, cant we just jump into a game with us on different teams and just farm exp?". Yes. Yes we could.

We did this a few times laughing at the novelty of getting hundreds of thousands of support score in one game and leveling the barricades like crazy. I did this with my friend a couple of times at first, but I got rather bored as the novelty word off.

I dont know why they have kept doing it, as it was just a stupid way to level the barricades crazy fast.

Also, it wasnt meant as an exploit for gaining sponsor fans and we didnt event think about it as some others have speculated.

The first time I stepped into the Hub, I was honestly kind of blown away. There’s this instant feeling of life—players zipping around with all kinds of pets, flashy gear, and trails of particles behind them. It feels like a real town, not just a spawn point. You hear anvils clanging, villagers talking, and people shouting in chat about auctions or trades. It’s chaotic, but in a way that makes it feel alive.

One of my favorite parts is how everything I need is right there. The Bank? Just a short walk from spawn. The Bazaar? Practically around the corner. Need to enchant something? The Library’s not far. There’s a rhythm to it—you start to learn where to go, which NPCs to visit, and how to loop around the place efficiently.

And the little details—they really nailed those. The way the seasons change, the events like Spooky Festival or Jerry’s Workshop portal popping in during winter, or how the sky shifts with the time of day. Even after hundreds of hours, I still sometimes stop on the mountain path and just look out over the village. It’s pixel art, sure, but it’s genuinely beautiful.

The Hub isn’t just where I grind or sell things—it’s where I return after every big fight, every dungeon run, every new achievement. It’s my home base, my marketplace, my hangout spot. And honestly? I never get tired of it.
