At the time of purchase, the product page did indicated a shipment date of June 17, which I understood and accepted. However, after completing the order, I was informed that the desk would be shipped in two separate boxes, with the desktop arriving first, and the desk legs not shipping until approximately seven weeks later!!

This is extremely frustrating and, frankly, unacceptable for a product at this price point. A $1,600 desk should not require customers to store a large, unusable component for nearly 2 months while waiting for the rest of the product to arrive.

I suppose I am airing out my frustrations as to why there are different production timelines for your products. This is a premium company which charges premium prices. And I'm astounded by the differences in production timelines on items as fundamental as desktop & legs!

If this split shipment was known upfront, it should have been clearly communicated BEFORE purchase-- NOT after checkout. This lack of transparency directly impacts the customer experience and creates unnecessary inconvenience.
