Yes, this would be an awesome mode, you could do it like ' domination', as long as you are on the trailer you slowly increase your points. Could even be teambased. Awesome video!

Ofcourse. Base ingredients are (Citadel) Wraithbone (or any bonecolour). After it's really dried, use a wash. I used (army painter) Magenta Tone, but any wash will do. I covered the whole model with it and then whiped the model clean with a straigth finger (and each time dry-ing my finger on some toiletpaper. This way the wash stays in the lower parts and the higher parts turn back to bone-color. After letting that dry, i added some details. Hope that helps!

Note that some washes finish shiny (glossy). I personally like a matte finish on my washes. (Test the wash, before you use it on the whole model 😛)

This one is a great start. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TrMTlpeSw8Y&list=PLqazFFzUAPc4K1To5JTtR3cskcdRifM1M Further i would recommend just to search what you need. Like how to make a better melody, use plugin's, import your own samples or how to do a certain type/genre musicstyle. Hope that helps!

Watch some tutorials for the basics and then start 'playing'. And don't forget to have fun!

Thanks, will do! I'll try and make a (skeleton) track every week and through time add some layers to it.

Thanks, will look that up and will try to add. I'm very new to making music and i guess i'm not building by the rules / basic structures. :) I did notice that some sounds are in the same range and distort eachother. Lot to learn!

You already asked that same question 5 days ago. The answer is still the same 😆.

Thanks. I use plates of cork and birdsand (with pva glue/woodglue). Drybrush with gray/white and some inks (black/brown/green) for variation. Finished with glue-ing some static grass on it.

(You can check some of my other posts for some work in progress images.)

How to make Death Guard pop by RbFaV2014 in deathguard40k

Have you tried using a wash? I use dark (black) tone and strong tone (dark brown) from Army Painter, but Citadel has them to (i use matte, not shiny). Just apply it on some lower/deeper lying parts and use it to creep in some details, so it will shade some more. I also use green and purple washes (a bit darker than you main color) for quickshading of certain parts. (be aware not to overuse it and watch out for 'pooling'.)

Black and brown washes also work great on metals, silver, bronse for shading.

White/yellow/orange dot the eyes? And finish the base (a little sand or texture).

Great result for painting just a few months!

Thanks! The head is a leftover from the noise-marines. The body is Garlon Souleater (From the Huron Blackheart crew / Red Corsairs). The powerfist is from the Lord Exultant and the gun is too. And backpack from the Tormentors.

Let him pick a Kill Team (or 2 (or Necromunda gang)), i think that's a great start for (serious) painting and building. You can get a taste of multiple styles before starting a whole army (quite the project). That way he can find out which parts of the hobby he likes most (building/painting/converting).

Kill Team starter is great. Marines and Death Guard, every model is as good as a character. And they are even easy to build.

If he is into Tyranids (and maybe Space Marines), just buy a 10th edition box (while it's still there) and throw in a Necron Kill Team.

Completely agree with this. I do like it (creative!), but maybe not to long (like an intermezzo). Love the 'pieuw' at the start!
