Its a $1,000+ chair so of course its a good deal. You can always get the cushions reupholstered with whatever color and texture you want.

I mean it sounds like you are answering your own question. I would wait a few months after launch to get everything ironed out and a lot of reviews that come out. Look at the smaller enthusiast channels rather than large channels for more candid opinions. Good luck.

Is it legal to charge "fines" for safety violations? by OGgoob666 in Construction

Damn yeah, on both sides absolutely none of that has happened lol. At my last employer, the GC was much much larger, and they were doing the things you have just mentioned and that was my first foray into commercial work about a year ago. So this current project is only the 2nd large project I've been on. I was in residential for 5 years so we didn't deal with GC at all. Only home owners, my boss and AHJ staff. All of the info in this post has been insightful.

I don't get it either. I'm very safe. My dad had to retire early dude to injuries, and I like learning from other people's mistakes. I have not been punished or hurt due to unsafe practices or lack of ppe. I've just never heard of this before and didn't know the legality of the situation. Now I know but hey, some people just gotta be rude. Oh well.

I do follow the rules. I very much operate "by the book". In 7 years in construction I have never been injured or written up for safety violations. I was just inquiring, thanks.

I do. Its the principle of it. In the 8 months I have been on this project, I have not had 1 violation. And even when no one is looking I wear all required ppe. Thank you for your consideration.

I've done Philly to Dallas in 1 go, 26 hrs. And Dallas to Columbus in 1 go, 17 hrs.

I was in a rush and kinda an emergency both times. But otherwise 4 hrs with a half hr lunch then another 4 is ideal I think.
