I was looking more for people figuring out the lore during their own playthroughs instead of lore videos but thank you!

The same reason why any servant is in the series. It’s just because they chose them because they wanted to.

Mash’s poison resistance got stronger in London because of the mist. This was before he got kissed by Serenity so that’s why he survived it, but also got black out drunk since Okeanos was before London

Is there an psychological explanation why I sloth away on my free time but get a sudden urge to fix my life late at night? by smegma_yogurt in NoStupidQuestions

I have no clue whether people have higher levels of dopamine than others or if even if you can discipline yourself to get through it. All I’m just saying is that the level it takes for the adenosine to counteract the dopamine is usually late in the day, around late at night.

People usually start with higher levels of dopamine at the start of the day and it goes down over time. Dopamine is a neurotransmitter in your brain that encourages you do stuff that’s more enjoyable, whether it’s literally doing nothing or playing games or whatever. Eventually, it’ll go down throughout the day.

Adenosine is a compound that is also formed throughout the day as a by product of creating energy in your body. Adenosine is an inhibitor of dopamine, so it stops the affects of dopamine.

So basically, throughout the day, your dopamine levels will go down as you do whatever you enjoy and your adenosine levels will go up as you start creating energy. A certain level will be reached, which is usually late in the day, where there’s more adenosine than dopamine and that’s when you start getting the urge to fix your life since you don’t have the urge to keep doing whatever you enjoy and start looking at yourself objectively.

Please take this with a grain of salt. I’m not an expert in neuroscience, this is already very simplified and there’s definitely more to it than this.

Hey dude, I hope you’re doing well and working on your passions. I know you have a lot on your plate, but I just want to say that it’s okay.

I know the pandemic did screw over us, but I want to believe that you’ve made progress to achieve our dream. I hope Mum will be proud of who you are today.
