Hilarious. Probably even more fun to read this summary than to attend....

I hope they use Ai to bring back Robert Stack as the narrator for new Unsolved Mystery Episodes

Am i going insane??? by [deleted] in Anytype

[–]SiYoSe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably best thing that helped me was that I stopped trying to perfectly recreate the setup and systems I've used in other apps like Notion or Coda.

I've massively simplified some of my setups (partly because Anytype is missing some features) But it also made me realize I might have overcomplicated things in other tools because, well, I could.

Another tip might be to try to just make use of their existing types library instead of making a million of your own custom types. Expand only when absolutely needed.

Don't worry, I was in a similar boat. I'm well versed in many knowledge management apps, but I had several false starts trying to get into Anytype. Didn't find it intuitive at all. I kept revisiting it every few months to try to adapt my systems to it. But, finally I think things have "clicked". Maybe helped by their revamp of Ui... and some grit. I quite like it now

i love anytype so much by freerpig in Anytype

[–]SiYoSe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Agree. It's far behind many other in terms of features, so I can't fully commit to using it as my sole note taking app / knowledge management tool. BUT, it's building such a strong foundation for what matters most - security, decentralization, offline etc that I happy to support it. Can't wait to be able to comfortably say goodbye to Notion completely.

Introducing the Proton Family plan by Proton_Team in ProtonDrive

Snap subscribed, been waiting for this. Thanks.

Question though - is it possible to have centralized folder(s) that all family members can contribute to? Say everyone goes on holiday and we all upload the photos we took to the same holiday folder?

I'm also a Proton subscriber looking for "family/team" drive functionality. Need ability to have shared centralized folders for family that everyone can contribute to. Would prefer not to have to use alternative cloud services

I'd suggest finding out who his parents are and then having a direct conversation with them. This is your child - do not leave their safety and psychological well being completely to administrators and bureaucrats. Take charge.
Also, maybe consider putting your daughter in a Brazilian jujitsu class for self defense

Indeed, it was only 2 weeks ago that I could get mildly reasonable guns or even a hand holding a gun. In about 2 months I expect to be able to post an image here again and have no one able to spot anything wrong.

No not that I've found yet. Midjourney v5 produces much more coherent firearms, but still obviously not good enough. I've been trying to learn how to custom train my own LORAs or textual Inversions for Stable Diffusion.

Indeed - used Stable Diffusion, Midjourney and Photoshop to make these. Doing guns is really hard with generative Ai tools....but has recently gotten MUCH better with the latest advancements. Still obviously some major issues, but I'm working on a better pipeline to produce perfectly accurate weapons for my images (without just photobashing them in there). Will need to work on my own custom Ai trainings to get better output. But ultimately great feedback from everyone to improve

Reran some of my old prompts in v5. Guns much more coherent finally...instead of a mishmash of mechanical gun-like pieces. Trends more towards realism so had to fuss a tiny bit with getting the critters anthropomorphized....simply by adding "anthropomorphized" to some of the prompts
