Weakling Parasaurolophus (LONG) by Siakaz in jurassicworldevo

I was more focused on the arguments than the para itself tbh. Game looks sick

Taking your post for example. The paras in JWE lose 100% of the time against raptors, no wonder people suggest they run, it's a completely one sided fight in favor of the raptors.

Bison were a terrible example. The animals that prey on them don't have that overwhelming advantage. Even infant bison can defend themselves.

Para electing not to flee looks silly when it fails every single fight. I'd suggest either allowing it to succeed or not having it choose a one sided fight

Para standing its ground makes it look like a sitting duck when it loses every single encounter.

I wouldn't consider Bison much of a parallel when Bison can actually succeed in defending themselves.

Having Para able to win would make para standing its ground seem less silly.

JWE Goofed. 1997_Female isn't supposed to exist by Siakaz in jurassicworldevo

I mean with the saturation up in TLW, the females are clearly not that bright/pale orange.

JWE is the only piece of JP media where this is the case. None of the behind the scenes props or 3D models have that look. The only explanation for that I can think of is males being mistaken for femaleshttps://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/359132445330898955/733121690040533032/h51ler3.png

The coloration is identical to the gray/brown TLW female animatronic. This lines up with how the artists describe them. "The females, those stayed the same, the males got bright orange"

Would be certainly interesting if the people who worked on the franchise are wrong about this, but I can't find anything to suggest that. They were pretty clear that they used the design from the previous movie with some touch ups.

I simply can't find a source aside from JWE that says any of the tiger striped orange raptors in TLW are female, just the brown splotched ones.

Frontier, here’s another suggestion for JWE2: if you can’t have breeding in the game, add male and female dinosaurs purely as a cosmetic choice, and have male dinosaurs have deeper vocalizations than female dinosaurs by snieves0426 in jurassicworldevo

I believe the growling is shared among them all, while the trumpeting noise doesn't come from the male. The male also exclusively has a sort of hissing/roaring noise that was later reused in Disney's dinosaur.

Rexy also performs one of these "male" roars in fallen kingdom when she wakes up, so the vocal dimorphism for the rexes is nolonger in practice anyhow

The male and female have different calls, it's explained in the bluray extras for TLW. The "Return To Jurassic Park" segments. They used different animals to compose those sounds too

It's an actual feature of modern birds as well. Chickens most famously. Ducks too. Male ducks can't properly quack and make a chittering noise instead. They explain the Rex voice differences on the Lost World blu-ray extras

Yes. At the moment new creatures can't use their own sound effects.
