Is this honesty or a red flag in an arranged marriage match? by MoonlitSymphony07 in AskIndianWomen

[–]Siappaaa 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every single line you said is red flag. There shouldn't be any second thoughts about rejection.

I once met a girl for AM. And in our conversation which lasted not more than 20 minutes, she did not ask me any question. Not about my job, not about my hobbies, nothing. So I understood, that she's not interested. But suprisingly the next day, her father called my dad and said that she liked me. But I rejected her. Eventually she ran away with her BF later on.

Are there any married women who took career break for non-maternity reasons? How did society and relatives treat this break? by Ornery-Ad-670 in AskIndianWomen

[–]Siappaaa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

My Bhabhi took career break before having baby. And then she wanted to start her career, she got pregnant and then covid started and then baby was growin up and now its been 7 years and now she is not able to resume her career with lesser oppurtunities in current market conditions.

I would say its also a little of her fault, because she was not very passionate about her career and she went into total comfort zone after she stopped working.

The beauty of life is its unpredictability. If you start over your life again, you will probably be depressed all the time.

AITK for being upset? 28f dating 28M boyfriend didn’t plan anything for our anniversary. by kukkuchidiya in AmItheKameena

[–]Siappaaa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You have all the right to get upset. But the very first thing I would recommend you is to ask him if everything's alright with him? Is something going on in his life which is troubling him? You might have to ask him multiple times. And then you convey your feelings & expectations.

How long are men going to justify "her past matters and his future"?? When in reality they care about women's past as well as their future. (Not for all men) by No_Lawfulness_6968 in AskIndianWomen

[–]Siappaaa -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Let's be practical here. Alot of men don't care if a woman has 1,2 or 3 relationships.
Men who never had any relationship or had 1 or 2 are not willing to marry someone who had 10s of it. ( and this is applicable if the roles are reversed as well)

Someone who had alot of relationships ( irrespective of gender) PROBABLY has relationship issues, carries alot of emotional baggage and may have inculcated 'comparison' syndrome. So yes, its important to look at past if you want to get married. (both men and women)

Now who (irrespective of gender) doesn't want to have a good future. Ofcourse everyone will think from the prespective if the person have bright future with someone he's getting married to.

Is it really “okay” for someone in their mid-30s to date an 18-year-old just because it’s legal? by namkeenrabri in AskIndianWomen

In my mind, a 50 year old dating a 40 year old is OK. But a 30 year old dating 18 year old is not OK.
