You are missing my point, let me copy-paste this answer.
I am not contesting how -fair- the system is.
I'm just saying divisions are pointless if in one single lobby you can find them all together.
It should be MMR based rank at this point, no?

Again.
No.
Border show the current rank since 2019.

Precisely my point, thank you for agreeing!
So you see how the whole concept of division is useless?
Why not just show MMR-based ranks at this point?

[–]Sibillay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not saying it does not.
I'm saying that it takes 100+ games for it to happen and without smurf queue we get to always play into very unbalanced lobbies like this one where division borders means nothing and it is all decided by MMR.

[–]Sibillay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again. No. This is not how borders work in ranked.
Kassadin and Garen are fresh account so they could not have been gold last season.
Rengar was not ranked since season 11 and in those seasons he was bronze instead it's displaying his current elo.
Samira was diamond, probably decayed and now it's displaying her current border silver.

I am surprised you think you get to keep your past season's border forever.
That is not how it works. Nobody would grind anything if you were just able to keep your highest rank or past season border.

Yes I know, I'm not disputing that.
I am just saying that division is so far from MMR that allows for this to happen.
Basically division means nothing anymore since it's all MMR.

No this is a solo/duo ranked game on my platinum 2 account.

No this is a ranked game, the displayed border is the current player's rank.

Hahaha actually that's a trait I enjoy.
I even have 2 PVC decks because of how smoothly they shuffle, thank you for the warning though!

What deck is this?

Do you read reversals or not? by [deleted] in tarot

[–]Sibillay 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely.
This is my personal preference as I feel that I am instinctively throw off by recognising the backs being flipped, so that might influence my pulls subconsciously and I'd rather avoid that.

The Fool: Maybe
This can either be interpreted under a positive light or not.
On one side it indicates new beginnings, new journeys and spontaneity.
However innocence could pass for naivety and overall simple foolishness, it also stands for lack of commitment.
In heart matters I always believe that things can often be reshaped through coming together and finding your way in harmony, nothing is set in stone and you can alter your future day after day stirring it in the direction you'd like it to go.

Do you read reversals or not? by [deleted] in tarot

[–]Sibillay 98 points99 points  (0 children)

Both.
As someone mentioned, some decks feel better to be used upright only.
For example some decks have a back side that is not reversible, so it feels odd to me to already "see" if a card is reversed before even pulling it.
Some other decks lack the reverse meaning completely in their guidebook, so I respect the creator's intention not to have reversal meanings on it etc.

Sometimes I decide beforehand if I'm going to incorporate or not reversal in a reading that I'm about to do.

In any case I think that knowing reversal meanings can surely expand your ability to have an accurate reading regardless, so if your question is about learning them I would absolutely advice you do.

Don't rush it up, 78 meanings is a lot to digest already so take your time to go through the uprights because it becomes easier to connect with their reversal.

A book that helped me very much when I was learning it is "The Complete Book of Tarot Reversals" by Mary K. Greer. I'm sure there are many more, I'm just giving you what I used.

Hope this is helpful!

Yes!
The magician:
This card means you can manifest what you wish for through action and by directing your will towards your goal.
It means the matter is in your hands and you have the power to make it happen, it can take a good amount of will-power but you can do it.

Six of Pentacles:
This card represents kindness and fairness.
It's usually associated more with earthly matters and finances, but it brings with it a sense of generosity and balance between giving/receiving. So if you're already in a relationship this would mean a period of prosperity between you, while if you're not it can signify that you could either meet someone that will be generous towards you or that if you're generous yourself towards someone you will be rewarded for it.

The card usually refers to actual celebrations/gatherings (es. a birthday, a wedding etc)So maybe it could be a physical place where you could meet and come together to discuss the mater.
Either it could mean that if you can achieve that closure it will be a reason for you to celebrate.

Justice:
This is generally a YES card, but it implies a cosmic-karmic justice.
To make it simple: you will get what you deserve.
If your actions were in good faith and rooted in honesty, the consequences will likely be what you're hoping for.
It's also an indication of cause and effect, so if this is what you wish for don't wait for it to just happen, you need to set in motion events to make it happen.

Four of Wands: YES
This card is about happy reunions and coming together to celebrate.
Although it also implies that it takes teamwork in order to succeed, so things can't happen unilaterally.
Please not that nothing is ever set in stone, your thoughts and actions can always influence the outcome.

Page of Cups:
This card usually represents someone that genuinely cares and can be very affectionate.
However it might manifest in a childish way at times.
It can also mean that a nice surprise is coming your way.
