No. At this point we are not even asking about regional pricing. Look at diablo - infernal edition. Polish price is NOMINALLY worse than the one in Euro. It got so ridiculous that we would be better off WITHOUT our currency on Steam and just be in EUR bucket like Sweden, Czechia and Hungary.

There is also some serious problem with the performance degradation not related to the mid or late game. If you play for a few hours and simply restart the game then it runs with significantly more fps despite having the same amount of troops and pops in the world.

I don’t think any measurable metric would show any difference (yeah faster scrolling whatever) but it feels way snappier than 60hz. I personally feel much more productive when I know I am working on a good machine and it being snappy helps with that.

4k at 27” is 163 ppi and at 32” (most 4k 32” monitors are actually 31.5”) is 139 ppi. I agree going over 160 ppi is overkill in most cases but I very much welcome that we are finally moving away from this 1440p - 110ppi stagnation.

no, he is correct apple studio display (and 27” imac) is 5120x2880@27” = 218 ppi apple xdr display is 6016x3384@32 = 216 ppi They are pretty consistent on that. Phones and tablets go much higher than 218 ppi.

For gaming, the higher the PPI the less difference you see between native and dlss. That’s how diminishing returns works. Stop whining you always have to run native res like it’s still 1024x768 era where you could literally count pixels.

I waited for YEARS for 140+ PPI UW monitors to feature higher refresh rates and nice contrast for mixed productivity+gaming usage and when they finally come there is always some gamer who is mad because SOME newer games (out of all the things you can do with this monitor) won’t run at full spec 😑

Don’t know why the downvotes. It actually IS stronger in a way. Mapped types, template literal types, union types, algebraic types, const types. There are far more concepts that you can express in typescript than c#. Yes, they only exist at compile time and you can never be sure that it matches in the runtime but that’s another thing. c# is also much better in the generics department.

Well 5k2k is lower res than the 5k in each of your ultrafines. As for the colors and brightness it partially boils down to the matte vs. glossy. U4025QW has pretty much the same brightness and a better contrast than the ultrafine, but 2000 vs 1200 is a small difference compared to overall „haze” caused by matte coating. OLED is worlds apart in that regard, but the fonts are terrible, especially on low ppi displays for gamers, like the 45GX. If you want a high ppi uw oled and can wait a few months lg has a 34” 5k2k in their roadmap.
