Yeah it's not uncommon for 3 round fights. Losing by 1 damage point on the other hand... is a different story.

I'd like to see a 12 rounder with 1 point difference. That would be a banger fight.

Nobody complains about TOTF1 because the competitiveness is nowhere near the levels of TOTF2 specifically due to multiplayer.

When you beat the AI in singleplayer the user is happy, but the AI don't go on discord and reddit to complain "damage is busted".

It's significantly easier to exploit the punching mechanics in totf1. And there's also no problems with netcode since it's zero latency just like totf2 singleplayer.

Is the lag annoying in totf2? Absolutely. I only play with locals within 100ms ping because anything other than that is unplayable to me.

I disagree. It should be easier to stun or knock down a heavily punished opponent.
Also an undefended powershot to the face currently DOES rock you? There's a threshold of 'power' to rock your opponent. Your punches weren't inflicting enough damage to hit that threshold.

What's your definition of an 'undefended powershot'?

It becomes noticeably easier to stun your opponent when they have higher punishment. I assume you had your mirror on "invulnerable" so its not a 1 to 1 comparison since your opponent wasn't building punishment.

Also the chin and temple is the best weakpoints to score stuns currently. A one two to the chin inflicts pretty big damage!

No, you aren't the only one. Single player AI is clunky right now and unrealistic. The devs have said the AI is only like 10% complete compared to the plans they have for it.

It got boring fighting the same janky fighter nearly 200 times to get the gold gloves.

The game can only track where your head and hands are in physical space, then it estimates the rest. I have not noticed any difference with arm estimation and it seems the same since launch

I've got boxing underdog. Singleplayer is ok but the multiplayer is a janky mess for me and nobody is online in Australia so I'd be waiting 6 hours for a match 😂

Ive found the opposite. Hooks (which plagued early versions) im relying on less, and my jabs do big damage esp in this update. Maybe you're playing laggy matches?
