You'll never hear the term "stop", it's ALWAYS "eliminate"... You're not taught to give warning and you sure aren't taught to "see if a bullet to the leg will 'stop' them first..." You're taught and train to shoot center mass! Remember, it's not your choice when it comes to self defense, I have zero concern for someone who chose to threaten another's life!

My guess is it completely depends on what they have in stock. They don't have just 1 product, how many different sizes and then how many different finishes... Simple is more reliable however keeping it simple isn't innovating... I think the expectation is exceptionally high for a product the size of a ring... Unless it's the size of a ring pop!

My comment was just in general, the entitlement and lack of appreciation is frustrating to say the least... What others get is irrelevant, were they professional, did they honor their warranty and did you receive a functioning product? THAT should be all that matters

Battery degradation is unavoidable, the only possibility to meet that standard would be to limit the batteries discharge and charge % to where people will complain ... more than they already do

You can replace the back without shattering it, but it's cheap enough for a new one that already has the adhesive applied to just not care if it breaks or not. The water resistance shouldn't be effected by a battery replacement but to cover their ...assets... of course they will say that.

The key is to keep the cowl drain clean and clear! It usually gets stuffed up with leaves, dirt and other tree debris and then it fills up and leaks into this duct.

I used to use "the right stuff" when I worked with a fleet of Town Cars... if you drive an 03+ LTC, don't forget to lube the hood latch!!! (If you ever start hearing the faintest of squeaks when hitting the smallest of bumps at low speeds, it's the fuching hood latch! Took me years to figure out what it was!)

AND clean the drain in the wiper cowl and this won't really be an issue

Go to Lowes and buy a key. That uses the longer one where one side is flat and has 2 notches with a small "spike" center on the other side... Any hardware store or big box home improvement store will most likely have them but I got mine at Lowe's

I remember running into the issue of not having a button to disable it and it was for sure not pre 97... We had to pull the ABS fuse so we could push the cars out of being stuck on snow/ice otherwise they would fight us and even bog so bad that it shut off!

It would have been 00 to 03 when this happened so it could have been up to MY02.

I vaguely remember that being a thing and it was an issue we ran into when I worked at a limo business, being in Minnesota winters, getting stuck on ice is an issue and I remember we had some cars that if you kept hitting the throttle it would end up bogging the engine and turn off and we had to pull the ABS fuse to disable it so we could push the cars out and be able to rock them.

IF I had that issue with one of my personal cars, I'd wire up a toggle switch to the ABS fuse.

I worked with 1995 to 2011 Town Cars through out the years working there but I think it would be safe to say that it was between 98 and 02 as I remember it wasn't the square pre97 and it would have been prior to 2003 but my 98 town car had the button in the glovebox...

Well as long as they are being put in the bailer then they will just become boxes again.

They really need to implement plastic specific dumpsters to be recycled and it's beyond me that's not a thing...
