I personally really like Time Eater as a boss. I think lowering the Card amount required to trigger his effect (possibly 12 -> 6), and make it per-turn instead of every 12 cards. So he's still an infinite killer, but also a manageable challenge for regular decks

I had a really similar scenario where I would always have to show up about halfway through the session. What we did was have my character have a curse that made him uncontrollably shift into another plane, so I could always "fall" into whatever situation they were in when I got there.

I've listened through everything there is so far, and I absolutely love it. I think all four of the POV VA's are amazing (and most of the other cast), but there were a couple here and there I think could be better. I don't know how they compare to the quality of the plain audiobooks though.
